Summer: The Donna Summer Musical (Touring) Tickets

The Donna Summer Theater Touring Musical was awesome. The music brought back lots of great memories. The singers and dancers were professional and entertaining.

The talent was subpar. I felt like I was at a karaoke bar. The quality of the production was not good either. If possible, I would give NO stars.

It was OK. I was expecting a higher energy show. I was bored about halfway in and then it picked up a bit. Eh

All the singers are very talented and it was a very pleasurable experience! I was pleased to see that the majestic theater handed out masks to those attending and almost everyone wore them. Wonderful experience overall!

We had the best time watching and dancing along with this beautiful story of Donna Summer. It is a super fun musical and the evening goes by quickly as you get swept up in the disco beat. As someone who danced all this music way back when, thank you for making me feel exactly like I did back when I would get my disco boogie on.

Haven't seen a live show since Hamilton. This show brought back a lot of fond memories of good times and good music.

The story of Donna Summer’s life was interesting and I loved hearing all of her songs. I was disappointed in the singing quality of the performers. Enjoyed the dancing, but some performers weren’t as talented as I expected. When I buy a “broadway” ticket I expect better quality performances.

My oldest sister and my niece (sister 1st daughter) and I attended matinee show on Saturday. It was my sister & niece first time ever been to a musical and the majestic theater…. They loved the excitement, music and the 70’s costumes!! What a life story Donna Summer lived. She was a powerful Woman!

I loved the show; I was dancing at the gay clubs to Donna Summer's music and she really was, THE Queen of disco. Wonderful times dancing to her music. This show brought back so many good memories; I also loved the way her story was told, most of which I was not aware of it. At the end I was in tears, because I knew she had sung her last dance. May she forever Rest in Eternal Paradise. Her music will live on forever.

This was a great experience! I knew Donna Summers' music but didn't really know her story. This performance took you through her life and her music and it was so much fun! Loved it!

Summer The Donna Summer Musical is the story of Donna Summer performed by the amazing touring cast! I saw it in San Antonio at the Majestic Theater. I grew up in the 70s and 80s listening to Donna Summer. This stunning cast was amazing and made me feel I was reliving a glorious part of my past! The music. The stories. All fantastic! Three superstar talents play Donna at various points in her life. The show moves forward and there is never a dull moment. All 3 actresses playing Donna Summer knock he songs out of the park, as well as the actor playing Bruce Sudano, top notch! What fantastic powerhouse vocals they have! If you lived this era you will love this show! And if you’re younger than this era you will still love the show and can experience a fun and great time! Summer! The Donna Summer Musical is the best! I’ll be seeing it again!

We had a great time. Performers were very talented. We loved it.

Thought the music was amazing! The telling of her story shed some light on some things I wasn’t aware of. It was fun! We enjoyed it!

The storyline was disjointed. It didn't show off Donna's great music!! Choreography was terrible and dancing was sloppy. Didn't really get the changing genders, clothes thing of the chorus....can we just have entertainment and not socio-political messaging all the time?!!!

Set was very minimal. Overall not an impressive performance.

The actors, singers and dancers performed well but the show itself was very needy. Plot lacked any real pathos or drama - kind is a “been there done that” show. Summer songs were sung well but that’s the best I could say. I would not recommend it to my friends.

Wife and I loved the storyline. Totally enjoyed the singers and the dancers. The best show of the year!
