Lively & Electrifying
by JDub on 2/17/20James M. Nederlander Theatre - ChicagoI was so excited to see the actors and actresses perform in this theatrical musical production of Donna Summer’s life! I chose the second day opening evening show and enjoyed the stage presence and energy of the touring performers as well as the lighting in the James Nederlander Theater in Chicago. My only complaint was not against the performance but the behavior of a group of women in Orchestra seating that had no regards for anyone else by standing up dancing and singing in a theater performance. This was not a concert and the mere fact they didn’t realize they were the only ones standing up being rude, inebriated and obnoxious but theater goers paid a lot of money to enjoy the show as well! The show was an hour and 40 minutes with no intermission so with these old women behavior cane the need to use the bathroom meaning they were in and out the aisle and row disrupting the rows in front of and behind them.
