SUBURBS warmed crowd on a cold night!
by spikeokiller on 11/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisTix read 8pm. Doors were at 8, Suicide Commandos started a little after 9, the Burbs came on about 10:30, played til midnight. The Ave security made us oldies wait outside in a stinging cold wind(booo), but once inside a capacity crowd was fired up to see the reclusive band in most of their former glory (minus Bruce Allen who past recently). Beej looked/acted a little wasted, but Chan and Hugo played enthusiastically and kept the night progressing without incident! There was even a crowd surfer, as well as some slam-dancing in the "mosh pit" in front of the band! Fun night!! Very loud!!! spike ;}
