Great night. Heart is not an easy band to copy but Straight On does it masterfully. Monique's strong lead vocals and the fact that all the band members are seasoned professionals and have been doing this for years, makes them a joy to listen to. The opening band Fournr also put on a great show.
Legitimately the worst paid concert I’ve ever been to in my life. This is the first review I’ve ever submitted, but this show was bad enough that I had to warn others not to waste their money…you could barely hear the lead singer. The band admittedly played “the b side” of Heart music- not exactly what the crowd was looking for. Even the parents of members of the actual Heart band wouldn’t know these songs/lyrics. Also, brought a gentleman on stage for a number of songs with an odd instrument, country vibe. Just didn’t fit. Left, along with many, many, others well before the show ended. Kept waiting for it to get better. It never did. Incredibly disappointed. My message to the band would be: Read your audience. No one was enjoying this.
The Venue was really good, straight on could have been better, couldnt understand the lead singer very well at first and they played alot of songs people did not know very well. The first time seeing straight on i was disappointed
Obtaining the tickets were a bit on the difficult side technology-wise. The concert was amazing. Straight On embodies Heart to the core. Their voices are "straight on". I felt as if I was at an actual Heart concert. The woman who sang the lead vocals has an outstanding voice. The woman who portrays her sister is quite the musician. I would definitely attend another concert.
First time in Neon Room & it was nice. First time seeing Straight On & they were fantastically entertaining!!!!! The singer was outstanding! The guitars were superb!!! Wonderful show!
The band was excellent and the venue was very nice, although a bit crowded. I think the Casino squeezed a few too many chairs in. Unfortunately, the sound was not great. Don't know if it was the sound system or the acoustics in the room, but it was difficult to understand at times. I would see the band again, maybe not in that particular room though.
Much better than I ever expected. Lead singer voice was spot on and unbelievable that she could hit the notes that Ann Wilson does.
Played 7 popular Heart songs. Rest of the songs nobody recognized. Half the place cleared out after 45 minutes
