About

Under the moniker Still Woozy, Portland-based singer-songwriter/producer Sven Gamsky makes psychedelic alternative music with a homespun mix of acoustic and electronic instruments. On his debut album released in 2021, If This Isn't Nice, I Don't Know What Is, Gamsky ultimately redefines the limits of modern pop, introducing elements of soul, folk, and psychedelia into a wildly infectious sound that immediately leaves a lasting impact. He shared an ingeniously detailed body of work, including beloved singles "Window," "That's Life," and "Woof," and graces each song with the uplifting energy he brought to the stage at major festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza and a sold out If This Isn't Nice Tour across North America and Europe. With his distinctive blend of dreamy melodies and innovative soundscapes, Still Woozy continues to captivate audiences, solidifying his place as a unique and influential force in the contemporary music landscape. With a sophomore album, Loveseat, due for release on June 28, Still Woozy returns with a new single "Shotput" out now.

    Gets better every time

    by A. M. on 2/23/22

Saw him perform back in 2019 on his first tour and just again in early 2022. He has developed so much since the first time and the energy is still there. A very great performer and knows how to work the crowd to keep us going.

    Iconic energy

by Hannah on 2/23/22The Sylvee - Madison

Still Woozy showed up for the best concert of my life. I have been a huge fan of Sven for a few years, but his concert transformed my obsession to eternal love. The energy on the stage was immaculate and beyond reproach. The set list played was very representative of his best and most popular songs. 14/10 recommend.

is this heaven or a still woozy concert?

by kels taguba on 2/4/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Sven & co. put on one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. The energy was immaculate - they came out so excited & ready to groove, the positivity was palpable. The music is already *chef’s kiss* but hearing it live has solidified Still Woozy as a top five favorite artist. Not only that, but Sven stopped the whole show when a person passed out, had the venue pass out water, & told everyone to look out for each other. THAT is how it is done. In this crazy world, it’s amazing to experience such pure love. 1000/10, would travel to Antarctica to see Still Woozy perform again.

    Incredibly ~vibey~

by Patty spills on 2/3/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Such a good vibe for getting out in a Monday night in the middle of the pandemic to listen to an artist who has yet to miss on a song. Also I will say the rest of his touring band has amazing energy and great personalities so it was a really well rounded show!

    Had a fabulous time!

    by Cindy on 9/19/21Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

Still Woozy was awesome. The venue worked out great to provide an intimate experience. Only item is that Ticketmaster gave our tickets an actual seat number, so we thought we didn’t have to arrive super early because we had a seat…when actually there were no seats assigned. This was a bit confusing and led us to be further back than we could have been.

    Negative Stars

    by A. C. on 9/18/21Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

Had me stand in line to be turned away at the door due to COVID restrictions that weren’t officially communicated. I later realized the artist posted his COVID safety requests to his IG page, hardly a professional way to communicate with a paying customer, especially since the venues restrictions aren’t set to go into effect until 9/20. Bought the tix months ago. Was told tickets would be refunded but was later denied because they claimed tickets weren’t purchased directly from Ticketmaster (crazy because my web bar says Ticketmaster). I know other people who have gone through this. Quit playing games with people and rerouting to different sellers without notifying your customer. Seems like a great way to rip people off & evade responsibility for refunds you rightfully SHOULD issue.

    Still Woozy at Webster Hall

by liz on 10/30/19Webster Hall - New York

the show was so good! I love Sven and Tani’s stage presence as they kept the crowd energetic. The only gripe is I have is that the projecting visuals were not as vibrant as they could have been (this is probably because it was done with a projector rather than a screen)z Everything else was amazing though!

Talk about a chill concert with high energy. Sven and his team are hilarious and are constantly moving around and interacting with the crowd. Graphics in the back were really really cool. Definitely will see him again no doubt.

    Best view ever

by Khum on 8/5/19Newport Music Hall - Columbus

There was this bench by the beer bar that I stood on because I’m 5 foot exactly, so short. It was amazing first time I have ever been able to even see the stage fully.

    pretty rad time

by anastasia on 8/5/19Newport Music Hall - Columbus

still woozy was gr8!! dreamer boy opened, and he was decent but went on a lil too long in my opinion. we were all getting antsy to see still woozy. still woozy killed it tho. his dancing is so fun and he played all his songs & even came back to play lucy again bc nobody wanted him to leave. also totally thought he was a more lowkey artist until i saw the long line of people waiting to get in. makes my heart warm to see so many people appreciating quality music :’)
