    I <3 HOMESHAKE

    by I. Y. on 8/16/22

Everything about the concert was amazing. I really appreciated how Pete did an encore at the end and played not just one but TWO extra songs!! Every song was very atmospheric and immersive, definitely made my skin have goosebumps. Homeshake is and will always be one of my favorite bands. I’m so excited to see them again in November with Men I Trust!!! See you in the front row :-)

    Better than I expected

by Rilezz on 5/11/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

Homeshake songs often play on my music streaming services, and I really enjoy their mellow style. When my buddy invited me to see them live, I was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure how they would perform live, but I decided to go anyway. I was blown away by their performance. The instruments sounded good, with the exception of the drums occasionally getting way too loud at certain points of some songs. The lead vocalist would speak to the crowd in between songs with a pitch shifter, so his voice was really low. I found this hilarious because he sings at a fairly higher octave. The lights and the fog machine set a nice mood for the music. And this band draws in an incredible fanbase. I'm a fan for life. 1 star was docked because that drum volume truly ruined how much I enjoyed some of the songs.

    Awesome

by Kniphe on 5/9/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

I thought it was a great show. The Deftones Change encore was great and the North Park Observatory has great acoustics. The big drawback was the promoter required me to get a negative test prior to entering. I work under the epidemiologist for the county’s public health department and I find it to be extremely hypocritical that people who are vaccinated aren’t also required to test negative. It’s nothing less than idiotic and conveys a lack of understanding of communicable diseases, do better.
