Both artists were phenomenal, but Jeremy Camp put on such a wonderful show that I am travelling to Bellevue in September. We would love to get another chance to see an extended Camp show sometime soon. Praise to God for giving us such an inspirational servant in Jeremy Camp!
The show was excellent. Jeremy Camp started it off and was incredible. Steven Curtis Chapman was also great-his show was a little loud though. I would definitely go to see this concert-God was glorified through both singers!!!
Both artists did all popular hits. I knew every one of the songs they did, except one new one that Steven Curtis Chapman did. As it was an outdoor concert, in a wide venue, it was hard to hear spoken parts, but the music was very understandable.
Great concert/worship experience with Jeremy Camp and Steven Curtis Chapman. Hearing the heart of both Jeremy and Steven touched my heart. We appreciate the Iowa State Fair bringing Christian artists to the fair each year!
Keep bringing Christian artist to the fair! Would love to hear Chris Tomlin, Dave Crowder Band, Mercy Me, Toby Mac to name a few.
The concert was a blast. A friend of mine and I went and we enjoyed the whole thing. I hope the Iowa State Fair will have more christian artists perform during the fair.
Steven & Jeremy were both amazing!!! My only comment was that it was hard to hear the words/vocals over the music. Need a little sound adjustment. It was also hard to hear just either of them talk between songs. Other than that I loved the concert and would return in a heartbeat!!!!
What an uplifting event! Although was louder than necessary it was still and awesome concert with a fabulous message!
A concert that exceeded my expectations. I've loved Jeremy Camp but was not a big SC Chapman fan. This concert changed that for me. In concert Chapman rocked. I'd go again if these guys come again. Overall concert was tasteful, the message powerful, and the atmosphere was excellent.
It was totally awesome! Jeremy Camp came out first and got everyone fired up for Jesus! Then Steven Curtis Chapman came out and inspired all of us with his recent testimony of the loss of his 5 year old daughter and how him and his family are doing. And we praised God for the whole concert! Amazing and very uplifting!
While Steven Curtis Chapman is an incredible artist and his performance was excellent, Jeremy Camp was really the highlight of the evening for me. Jeremy's voice is just so true, his music moves my heart, and his personal testimonies seem like they speak directly to me. Bring back Jeremy Camp as a headline act next year!!
The Jeremy Camp/Steven Curtis Chapman concert was amazing. Both artists were so personal & candid. You could tell they love what they do, love people and love their families. They interacted a lot with the crowd.. the music was great. It was a real boost to my faith too. Their testimonies of losing loved ones & their renewed faith in God were very inspiring. I highly recommend this lineup :)
The Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp concert was fantastic!! It was very uplifting, and they played a lot of great music. It is great to see that the Iowa State Fair does include Christian Music in their grandstand line up!! I hope that will continue in the future...as I am sure that many others do as well!
It may have been hot at the grandstands, but what an unforgettable night of praise and worship. This was something that I really needed to hear. All the songs were uplifting and mesmerizing. You could just feel God's presence among all the people. Thank you for coming to the state fair and sharing your wonderful talents and stories with us.
I have only one complaint about the concert, it was just too loud. I went to see Nickleback with my son, and they weren't that loud. The base drum totally drowned out the vocals and that is what Christian music is all about, the words. Besides that I enjoyed the old songs, the current songs and the yet unreleased songs. I liked the witnessing between songs and I realize how hard it must be to share the family tragedies with a stadium full of strangers.

Couldn't hear the vocals, the music was overpowering the vocals. Unfortunately we were sitting way off to the side and right in front of the speakers. Even when just speaking it was bad. What I could hear was fantastic, the music was great. Maybe if they flashed the lyrics on the big screens it would have been better. The entertainers were great, would go see them again.
Being outdoors, joining thousands and thousands of borthers and sisters in Christ in worship to the Creator and King of Kings has no words that describe it. The music was incredible and the message was very clear. No matter what fires or valleys life will bring us to, it is the one and only God of the universe that gives us the hope that will bring us through it all. We just need to be obedient and trust in Him.
This pair was unbelievable. They thanked the Iowa State Fair Board for allowing them to play. They praised and they worshipped. They shared their lives with us and we came away the better for it. Thank you!!! It was wonderful!
This concert was amazing. Jeremy Camp showed so much enthusiasm for god and his music also showed it. Steven Curtis Chapman's music was very good also. I would recommend going to their concert
