My wife and I were thrilled to see SCC. He is an absolute treasure. Show Hope is a great organization we now support.
What an evening! Wonderful worship and fun all wrapped together. How can anyone not find SCC delightful and endearing?! Loved the many songs sung and all shown on the screen added to the show so much. The musicians are so versatile and talented!! Happy he said he will continue to perform as we love hearing him. What a gracious servant of the Lord!
Great show! I was undone by the end. Great trip through SCC's music through the years. I am impressed by SCC's maturing over the years as well. Very real, and God honoring.
Steven still has it! We LOVED Cousin Curtis! The music was worshipful and made us laugh and cry in the span of 60 seconds. What an amazing man of God! It's hard to believe he is so humble in spite of all his success. SO many great songs. The best concert we have seen in years. Can't wait to see him perform again soon.
Steven Curtis Chapman still gives a wonderful concert and helps usher the audience into worshiping Jesus. My husband and I have been to many of his concerts through the years and are so thankful for the integrity to God’s Word, the gifted songwriting, and the excellent playing of all of the instruments. What a great use of the gifts of God!
This was a great concert! Steven is so talented- musically, funny, wise and full of Christian values. Loved every minute. Thank you!!
Such a walk down memory lane. SCC has always been one of my favorite singer / musicians but, I have to admit I had forgotten he has soooo many incredible songs. His songwriting and delivery of his songs and messages are superb. The fact he is such a committed Child of God just makes him all the better. Great concert!!
SCC is simply great--as a musician, lyricist, and performer. Played straight for just shy of 3 hours, except for a very brief "ask"for his ministry Show Hope, which unlike others I have experienced, was sufficiently long and short, while making its point. No begging, etc. As for SCC, he still has the music skills and voice. But we loved his demeanor. Although a superstar, he does not act that way. You sense his gratitude and humility. It was a great concert. And while not necessarily intended to be a night of worship--it was. The Walker Theater was the perfect size. While it could stand a refresh, it did not matter. I'd go see him again at this save venue. If you can still catch him on the Still tour.....do it.
Steven Curtis Chapman always puts on a great show! It is always so meaningful! And it was also so great to get to meet and greet with him!
S.C.C was very authentic & had a great testimony! I didn’t like the old 90’s music video playing in the background- it was distracting.
Worth it. We left blessed, encouraged and empowered.
One of the best shows I’ve been to yet! I’m an avid concert goer and SCC is one of the best! His musicianship, songwriting, and vocals are immaculate and he only gets better as the years go by. Would 10000% recommend you see him if you ever get the chance!
SCC did a tremendous performance. I'll cherish the memory for the remainder of my earthly life.
Steven Curtis is a genuine and earnest as ever in his ministry and singing. Just terrific!
This was the fifth time we have seen SCC, with the most recent in Atlanta in March of '23. Loved the opening with cousin Curtis! As always, SCC is uber talented and demonstrates a wonderful heart. There were two things that prevented us enjoying this particular concert more - sound and Show Hope. We were sitting in the third row of the balcony. There were reinforcement speakers just inside some short divider walls that made the sound seem to come from a small box radio. When the concert started with Cousin Curtis, I thought it was part of the act - to make it sound old-timey. However when SCC came back on as himself, it got no better - this was the most disappointing aspect. As for Show Hope, while a wonderfully worthwhile ministry, the fund-raising portion of the concert lasted more than 30 minutes, when you add the time his wife was on the screen. It was just too much. One more thing that just came to me; while the Riviera was indeed a nice venue, to have alcohol serving bars on every level seemed out of place at a Christian concert. Just my opinion.
The best concert in a long time. Steven c is one of my favorite.
SCC concert was absolutely terrific! Fantastic time!!
I have been to 3 or 4 Steven Curtis Chapman concerts and this one was my favorite!! It was a smaller auditorium and I felt a greater connection to Steven and enjoyed all of his past and present music. I love how it was presented through the years!! I could see his wisdom and loved hearing how God has formed who he is through the years!! And Gods Faithfulness in his life. It was very heartfelt and he connected with me.
He didn't have the energy he had 24 years ago, but who does? And still a great show.
This concert was amazing! Thank you Steven for doing what you're doing! You and your wife are doing amazing things!
