  • Moderately entertaining

by Goldie on 12/13/24Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts - BloomingtonRating: 3 out of 5

I was neither great nor bad. There were some great aspects of the show in how he incorporated some of his personal life and videos-those were a highlight indeed.

  • Great show!!!

SCC still has a fantastic voice and puts on a great show. Very engaging and humorous. Highly recommend!

  • Still young

by Diane on 12/13/24Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts - BloomingtonRating: 4 out of 5

I liked him. Was hoping he would sing more of his older songs even though I realized it was a Christmas program. I thought that the first part was a little slow. The second was great! I really liked when he sat at the piano and sang, esp his new song. I thought sone times the background music over powered his singing. He’s a great man and musician. Thanks

by BR on 9/30/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The legendary Steven Curtis Chapman gave the audience a great night in an intimate setting. A truly one man show, SCC took us through his life like a friend over coffee. He delivered unplugged versions of some of his greatest hits and songs that shaped him personally. Bad weather couldn’t dampen such a memorable performance!

  • Totally entertaining evening!

by Sds on 9/29/24Victory Theatre - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We arrived about 20 minutes before the concert was to begin. There was a piano, two guitars on stands and a drum on stage. Steven Curtis Chapman took the stage for two and a half hours of amazing music, stories and laughter with only a short intermission. Along with the inspiring music and story of his career, the back drop of the stage was filled with a video of photos of his life and performances throughout his time on stage. He also humbly shared that he will be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on Nov. 1st. He also shared the joy his family has from adopting children and the non-profit organization he has established to help other families adopt. Mr. Chapman offered an evening filled with inspiration, praise to God and beautiful music. A night not to be forgotten.

Steven did an intimate one man show. This guy is still so full of life, joy, and the Spirit. Told so many stories, testimonies and played excellent versions of all the classics we loved every minute. I would see this one again!

  • Fun night with SCC

by Rcbuckwalter on 9/28/24Charleston Theater - CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

What a great concert! SCC appears to have unlimited energy. His performance was outstanding, and his storytelling is excellent. We loved hearing so many of our favorite songs. While his adoption organization is definitely a worthy endeavor, I feel the time devoted to it during the performance could have been less. Thanks for a great time!

  • Felt like sitting around with friends

by Long Long Time Fan on 9/24/24Pantages Theater - TacomaRating: 4 out of 5

SCC’s concert at the Pantages in Tacoma was a casual, relaxed, intimate time with an artist who feels more like an old friend. Always honest and transparent, SCC allows his audience to identify with the triumph and tragedy of his journey, and invites them in to join him in seeking the Creator in worship. Was truly blessed by the experience. Parking leaves much to be desired though!!

  • Great concert

I really enjoyed the format of his concert. It was like you were sitting in his living room, and he was sharing his songs and life story. His songs were great, and so were his stories!
