SCC was great as usual. especially loved the updated songs with Christmas theme.
I was neither great nor bad. There were some great aspects of the show in how he incorporated some of his personal life and videos-those were a highlight indeed.
SCC still has a fantastic voice and puts on a great show. Very engaging and humorous. Highly recommend!
I liked him. Was hoping he would sing more of his older songs even though I realized it was a Christmas program. I thought that the first part was a little slow. The second was great! I really liked when he sat at the piano and sang, esp his new song. I thought sone times the background music over powered his singing. He’s a great man and musician. Thanks
An up close and intimate small venue evening with one of our favorite Christian singer/songwriters Steven Curtis Chapman. Wonderful!!
The legendary Steven Curtis Chapman gave the audience a great night in an intimate setting. A truly one man show, SCC took us through his life like a friend over coffee. He delivered unplugged versions of some of his greatest hits and songs that shaped him personally. Bad weather couldn’t dampen such a memorable performance!
Steven Curtis Chapman always does a great job with his stories, musicianship, and song choices. Top-notch performer!
We had the best time! He is so extremely talented. What a personable guy that brought so much wisdom through his words and his music. God bless you SCC!
We arrived about 20 minutes before the concert was to begin. There was a piano, two guitars on stands and a drum on stage. Steven Curtis Chapman took the stage for two and a half hours of amazing music, stories and laughter with only a short intermission. Along with the inspiring music and story of his career, the back drop of the stage was filled with a video of photos of his life and performances throughout his time on stage. He also humbly shared that he will be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on Nov. 1st. He also shared the joy his family has from adopting children and the non-profit organization he has established to help other families adopt. Mr. Chapman offered an evening filled with inspiration, praise to God and beautiful music. A night not to be forgotten.
Steven did an intimate one man show. This guy is still so full of life, joy, and the Spirit. Told so many stories, testimonies and played excellent versions of all the classics we loved every minute. I would see this one again!
This was a whole new side of SCC for long term fans. Steven played his guitar and drum. Plus a bit of piano. Stories, humor and life wrapped up with songs that spanned 4 decades. Sheer delight
What a great concert! SCC appears to have unlimited energy. His performance was outstanding, and his storytelling is excellent. We loved hearing so many of our favorite songs. While his adoption organization is definitely a worthy endeavor, I feel the time devoted to it during the performance could have been less. Thanks for a great time!
Steven CC is a blessed and skilled artist and wonderfully gives his gifts to honor God and people. Loved it!
Loved the way he brought in old and new songs and shared his life story. Intimate setting felt like family.
SCC’s concert at the Pantages in Tacoma was a casual, relaxed, intimate time with an artist who feels more like an old friend. Always honest and transparent, SCC allows his audience to identify with the triumph and tragedy of his journey, and invites them in to join him in seeking the Creator in worship. Was truly blessed by the experience. Parking leaves much to be desired though!!
I really enjoyed the format of his concert. It was like you were sitting in his living room, and he was sharing his songs and life story. His songs were great, and so were his stories!
SCC was amazing! He’s funny, he’s real, and he truly has a heart for the Lord. So glad we were able to be there!
Loved the small, intimate theater. SCC was great, as always!!! Enjoyed all his tales!!
The venue makes for a very intimate concert experience. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet Steven Curtis Chapman, he is a very gracious gentleman. The nearly 2 1/2 hour show was definitely one for the memory books. Would love to see him again.
It was my 1st time seeing Steven curtis Chapman in concert. He DIDN'T disappoint at all. It was an amazing show and the Bijou theater is a fabulous venue. And I found out 3 days before the show my ticket included a meet and greet with Steven!!!
