I was disappointed that there was not enough music, both Christmas and artist songs. Too many films and talking.
I brought my 86 year old mother and it was more of a rick concert than I expected, really thought it was more Christmas carols. Commercials lead me to that assumption. It was fine but not for my mother.
The concert was very good. Positive, uplifting music and short movie clips in between nice touch. However, 3 hours for a weeknight concert way too long..I felt sorry for the artists...so many people left early due to length of the show and it being on a weeknight.
They couldn't have done a better job. It was empowering, it was moving...it was personal and heartfelt. It was exciting and energetic. And the talent was UNDENIABLE! Such a great experience. God is truly using each and every one of them to spread His message ♡
The music was perfect, a great mixture of Christmas and regular songs. The intermission was too long though. I was expecting to get out much earlier than we did. School night .
Best Christmas Show “Do not Miss” suggest Family!!
I love the Christmas season but when the world can produce a better celebration then the church it breaks my heart. These “Chritian” artist are so secular that they put the secular artist at peace when it comes honoring the season. This season for us Christians is about Jesus and when we pay for a Christian event at this time of the year we do it thinking that is what we are going there to do. With the exception of the Irish band these people forget they are ministers of the gospel and now they are just entertainers. I can’t stop thinking you sing for the church because you can’t sing for the world but that is where you want to be it is obvious in your fruit. This is so sad that a Christian radio station produces a Christmas concert with Chritian artists under the Christian banner and is more secular then what the world will be doing this season. I’ve produced national and international events for 25 years I know what it takes and I know how much control the artist has to do what they want so before you dismisse this review look at your fruit as ministers of the Gospel. I pray this review finds it way to you and helps you remember why you started doing ministry. God bless you.
If you have the opportunity to go to the KLove 2017 Christmas Tour - GO! My Bride (or 45 years) made it a Date Night. It is excellent family revival. Bring your children, they will enjoy it also.
So enjoyed this Concert, Plum and We are Messenger,Chapman, Marc were Amazing,I left feeling great and blessed to have been able to attend on my Birthday,Coming from Southeast Texas.
Awesome excellent awesome excellent. Need I say more
The K-Love Christmas Concert in Baton Rouge was fun and entertaining. Good mix of hit songs and Christmas songs. Highlights of the concert were the performances by Plumb and Marc Martel - strong vocals and great stage presence. We Are Messengers actively got the crowd involved during their performance. Steven Curtis Chapman performed for about one hour but took up a lot of time with commentary before each song. Concert concluded with all four singers on stage. Excellent use of the video screen behind the stage. Very quick turnaround between the first three performers. Configuration of the arena resulted in an intimate setting for the audience . Concert lasted a little over 3 hours including a lengthy presentation on Compassion International and a 20 minute intermission. Sound quality was a disappointment as the bass drum and bass guitar overpowered the vocals, especially with We Are Messengers. The volume was too loud for the size of the arena.
Awesome awesome awesome!! More than I expected and great interaction with the crowd
Absolutely a wonderful concert and time of worship!
This concert was the most enjoyable experience me and my wife have attended! All the artists were amazing!!!!
Loved the music, loved the story telling, loved the message! This was an amazing start to my Christmas season! Thanks K-Love!
Loved the show so much that I am using air miles to see another one.
Volume was way to loud. Wish Stephen Curtis Chapman would have played longer and sang some of his hits
Depending on your venue be aware of seating. We bought balcony, closest to the stage. We had a view of only the speakers. The artists were great. They played mostly Christmas but some of their hits. They ended with all 4 performers on the stage together.
We had a great time and I loved our seats! Can’t wait for their next Christmas tour!
The concert was great, but having a front row seat the sound wasn't what it should had been. The way they had it set up we were setting to the side of the speakers and sometimes couldn't make the vocals out. Just wasn't what you would expect. But still had a good time.
