  • SCC was fantastic!

by Heartbeatslove on 9/10/18The Lyric Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

I am so glad I went to this event. It was a joy to meet this good man whom I have listened to for several decades. His music and story have touched my life deeply. The concert was like no other I have ever been to- and it was a very special blessing. If you are a Steven Curtis Chapman fan, don't miss this experience.

  • Thank you for a night of worship SCC!

3 hours of just SCC and his guitars...amazing! So gifted and so worshipful. Definitely a night we’ll remember.

  • Singing with a 30 min pitch

by pitchedout on 3/18/18The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 4 out of 5

I believe in Charities and Causes... my husband and I support 2 kids through World Vision, but when I pay $50 or more (since we had the least expensive seats), to hear an artist, I don't feel that I should be pitched their charity for half an hour. Steven Curtis Chapman was very good, but with literature on our seats, a booth in the lobby and continued references to it throughout the concert; I feel that that should have been sufficient. I won't be going again. This event was in Chattanooga on March 9.

  • SCC - genuine love shown to audience

by GeorgeBurdell on 3/18/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert we've been to - ever. Wonderful music, great message, and Stephen Curtis Chapman's story was such a fun way to experience his music.

  • Steven Curtis Chapman was unforgettable!

by NikkiNoel96 on 3/15/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

That night was something that I will never forget. Meeting and seeing the man that I've looked up to my entire life was beyond words. How do you describe meeting the man who has brought you close to God? Who helped you understand God, helped you share God's word, and always encouraged you to stay strong in your faith when all you felt was scared and alone. The way that some people feel about Moses, David, or even Billy Graham is how I feel about Steven Curtis Chapman. God has used this man's talent to reach so many and teach so many more. My entire life built up March 11th, 2018. It was such an awe-inspiring, surreal night. I wish he would come back again!

  • Excellent little intimate concert

by CaptainGibby on 3/15/18The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

The Walker Theatre was a neat little theatre with excellent acoustics and views. SCC did not disappoint!

  • Unvarnished Excellence!

by SCCForever on 3/14/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Like sitting in the living room with Steven Curtis Chapman! As he remembers the “God-story” of his life through his extensive song catalog, I remember mine. This all-acoustic concert showcased the timeless brilliance of his message with his amazing guitar-playing skill and humble storytelling. Just three acoustic guitars and a man who knows how to use them! I would definitely attend more than once.

  • Became a fundraising event

by Sarah912 on 3/14/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 2 out of 5

We were disappointed in this concert. It was produced as a "concert" but it became a fundraising event. Too much fundraising and not enough quality entertainment. Nothing to do with this talent, but when people are paying money for tickets expecting a concert, that is what they should get. Instead, our heart-strings were purposefully pulled. That part of the concert went on for about 2/3 longer than it should have.

  • Stephen Curtis Chapman worst concert ever!

by Ephysgirl on 3/14/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Very disappointing performance. SCC has so much talent and so many great songs but neither were shared with the audience since most of his time was spent talking rather than singing. SCC performed very few songs in their entirety, offering instead only brief snippets of his many hits. He chose to use the two hours speaking out his life story and promoting his newly published book. Eventually, having heard too much of each, I left the event before it ended. This could not be called a concert and I was left feeling short changed from what should have been and was expected to be a great evening of listening to beautiful music performed by a once gifted entertainer!

by AlohaDANo on 3/14/18U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome musician. Great to hear the “back story” about the songs he has written. Very talented, unapologetically faith struggling, folllower of Jesus. Would attend his gathering again in a heartbeat.

  • Stephen Curtis Chapman was disappointing

    by Teddy12222 on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have always enjoyed SCC's inspirational songs and his singing, but this concert was more of a fundraiser for his charity. He did more talking than singing. He went on and on telling stories about his growing up years and then would throw in an occasional song. He then started talking about his charity and kept repeating the same theme over and over again. He asked the audience to make donations. This was after we had paid more than $60 per ticket to sing him sing...I couldn't believe it. So frustrating, so disappointing. I felt like I had been duped.

  • Great Show from a Great Christian Artist!!!

by DouglasvilleFan on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly, I had never heard of the Buckhead Theatre before this show, but there is not a bad seat in the house. Steven Curtis Chapman is a wonderfully open singer and songwriter in his genre. This show did not disappoint either; he sang bits of many of his hits as well as a new song that was on the theme of remembering. He has a sense of humor that also went along with the clear lyrics that praised the God that he serves! Great concert!

  • SCC Solo- inspiring, fun, and nostalgic

by coachsarahm on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the SCC Solo tour. So special that Steven is doing small venues and playing songs from long ago. I would attend again in a heartbeat and could have listened to him for several more hours. I would've enjoyed him playing a few more older songs like "More to this Life" and "His Strength is Perfect", but overall it was just so good. He is truly the most talented Christian song writer, vocalist, and guitar player of our time and that was fully showcased tonight. What a wonderfully memorable experience!

  • SCC Solo was truly awesome!

    by Bodeen12 on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing SCC in concert was certainly a "bucket-list" item for me! The format of the concert was really unique. I enjoyed hearing SCC share some of his life's story and inspiration behind several of his songs. I also appreciated the opportunity for the audience members to request the singing of their favorite songs.

  • Steven Curtis Chapman was awesome!!!

    by Scoot52 on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I absolutely loved the show! Being a songwriter myself, I always enjoy “stripped down” concerts- no band, no tracks, and this was one of the best I’ve ever seen!

  • The Best...

by Jerey on 3/13/18Bijou - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This concert had all the aspects of life and a great evening. I laughed, I cried, and best of all the Spirit of the Lord was present. The concert was an intimate evening between the artist and his fans. Thoroughly an enjoyable evening! Thank you Steven

3rd time seeing SCC. Always puts on a great show. Don't miss it!

  • SCC show was great!

by CadmastWoodstock on 3/13/18Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Steven Curtis Chapman put on a great solo performance in Atlanta. Started right at 7:30, played lots of his great hits, gave a wonderful testimony regarding his family's favorite charity, and even took requests from the audience (,,,"this is really scary, but fun!") Steven has been one of my favorite artists since the first time I heard "The Great Adventure", and he did not disappoint during the performance. Go see one of the best Christian artists around!

  • Ageless Steven Curtis Chapman

My wife & I had a fantastic time at this concert. Anytime you can catch SCC, be sure that you do. He is BOTH a great entertainer and speaker. We enjoyed the stories from his childhood and the up-lifting and heart-breaking stories from recent days. Thanks SCC for your faithful service and amazing ministry.
