    Hofstetter & Co. were fantastic

by LBK on 5/14/23191 Toole - Tucson

First time at the venue and wasn’t impressed. I was shocked that SH would play in such a place, but his show was FANTASTIC. The smaller venue does make for a more intimate show. All in all, great experience.

    Awesome night out!

by Camenae on 11/1/22The Joy Theater - New Orleans

Steve's opening acts were "meh", but Steve was amazing as usual. I can't wait until he comes back to New Orleans!

    Perfect for Conceited Liberals

    by A on 10/30/22

A two hour experience of being lectured on the evils of being white, while also preaching how they are anti-racist. One opener snapped at the audience and told them to "shut up and laugh" when he was upset we didn't laugh at his obnoxious jokes. Steve's material is obviously catered to a very specific audience, but he is also extremely sensitive, too.

    Hilarious

    by J on 10/24/22The Senate - Columbia

Still wondering why the seats were so close together, but that would be my only complaint. Comedians were great, the rest of the crowd was great, no one misbehaved or was belligerent. Steve had some new material, which was hilarious. I’ll definitely see him next time he rolls through our backwater town.

Steve Hofsetter and crew are great!

by Mel S on 9/13/22The Queen - Wilmington

Mark, you were great! Then Brett and Rob came on and they just upped the energy. Steve closed the show with some new material and blew the roof off. The audience behaved themselves, and no hecklers disrupted he acts. Kind of missed the flames of death that Steve launches so well at hecklers.

    It was ok...

    by supr_inno on 9/12/22The Queen - Wilmington

I have seen Steve Hofstetter twice before and I definitely should have remembered that his comedy is really "smart," if that makes sense. He's highly intelligent and his act reflects that. I have to be honest in saying that many of his jokes went over my head. I was slightly embarrassed not to have "gotten" every joke he tossed out. I wish I had a bit more common thread jokes, to appease those of us with only slightly above average IQs.

    Steve was great!

by Kristy on 9/12/22The Queen - Wilmington

Very funny! His buddies were great too! The Queen is an awesome venue too but the floor seats were way to close together! But Steve was awesome!

    Steve is the best

by Eric on 9/7/22The Wilbur - Boston

I saw Steve a year ago for the first time after discovering a lot of his videos online during the pandemic. When he talked about his time living in Boston and his dream of playing at the Wilbur I knew I had to see him again. All of his openers were fantastic and the Q&A session they all did at the end was great.

Was the best show I’ve seen at the Wilbur

I will go back to see him anywhere in Massachusetts

    Decent show - poor venue

by Doug on 8/9/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

It was a good show overall, well put together and definitely full of humor. The Neptune theater however is well past its prime; the seats are cramped, the vending/bar availability was minimal, and it felt like a fire trap.

    Couldn't go

by KathyRetired on 8/9/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Had a positive Covid test on Tuesdayb so was quarantining with very mild symptoms. Also serious issues with ferry schedules and road construction (I'm a couple hours away). REALLY wanted to come see Steve since i follow him on Facebook but couldn't. Also kept waiting for the SELL button to activate but it didnt. So, no stars from me.

by Lynn on 8/8/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Steve put on an incredible show! He presented new material and it was a home run! The three opening guest were awesome too! Well worth every penny! Hope to catch another show soon!

    Steve Hofstetter is the best!

by tickyree on 8/8/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Steve Hofstetter is not stingy with the jokes. He is unabashedly liberal/progressive. He doesn't suffer fools kindly. He's smart, thoughtful, and quick-witted, so do not try to heckle him. He's known to trash a heckler with swift brutality, but would rather not have to. If you like misanthropic, sarcastic, sharp, intellectual humor spiced with swear words, this is your guy.

Why does the P.A. system have to be so goddamn loud?

by WAY too loud. on 8/8/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I had to cram tissue paper into my ears because the volume was deafening. It was excruciatingly painful. It's just stupid to think a comedy show needs to be as loud as a rock band concert.

The show is amazing, laugh after laugh the whole time. Andrew Rivers was also great! Would recommend to everyone!
