  • Absolute Perfection

by Rocky on 3/21/25Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed the ballet. Absolute perfection.

  • Great evening. Beautiful dancers.

by music guy on 3/16/25Jefferson Perf Arts Center - MetairieRating: 5 out of 5

A beautiful evening of ballet. Theater only half filled but apparently this is not unusual right now with the cost of things lessening disposable income. Audience, though small, was welcoming and appreciative for the wonderful dancing, costumes and sets. JPAC is a great venue for such an event.

by Nat on 3/6/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

It was breathtaking to have the amazing opportunity to see this beautiful performance from the Ballet of Ukraine. The dancers were very talented, technical, and performed a beautiful dance. The theatre is small but beautiful, clean and well organized. Loved the experience

  • A real awake beauty

by Cesar on 3/5/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Kiev ballet is definitely one of the greatest They have the tradiltion and skills to perform like that Although there was no live orchestra, Tchaikovsky’s music sounded superb and coreography sinchronization, elegance and professionalism is just evident An applause also for the costumes: delightful!!!

  • Anticlimactic kiss!

by Meh on 3/5/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

Beautifully done however it felt like Sleeping beauty cliff notes with a horrible kiss to wake her from her sleep and then ending in too many multiple solos that were characters from diffrent fairytales. That became drawn out and boring. I would have loved more costume changes aswell. I thought perhaps they were changing sleeping beauties costume and that was the cause of so many solo delays, but then she came out in the same costume. The dancing was beautiful, no complaints there.

  • Excellent

by Fishkill on 1/22/25Ulster Performing Arts Center - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

We normally went to NYC to see the ballet. However, with the current crime in NYC, we decided to see the Ukrainian Ballet perform in Kingston. They were great! We would certainly see them again if they ever return to our area.

  • Beautiful and Captivating

by Joan B on 1/22/25West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

I had never seen Swan Lake, but certainly knew the music. I was thinking an over 2 hour ballet could be boring. But how wrong I was. It was so beautiful, the dancers so good. I would go back and see it again.

  • Ballet wonderful but music lacking

by Mel on 1/19/25West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterRating: 3 out of 5

I was very disappointed with the lack of any instruments whatsoever to accompany this ballet. The music played was grainy and stopping and starting with odd moments of silence. I will not be attending this production or any by this company again. Made this ballet experience very cheap.

  • incredible performance

by daryl on 1/12/25Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

i felt the ballet was absolutely incredible until audience members started pulling out their phones and being a distraction

  • Excellent technique and great talent, poor production.

by NTB on 1/12/25Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 3 out of 5

The company is great technique wise and performance wise. A few things would have made the show better though: live orchestra is always part of a great ballet, it would have been better to have one. The scene design was poorly assembled with constant movement on one side of the back curtain which made it distracting. Lastly the fact that the audience is eating pop corn and chips during the performance is disrespectful to the artists and really distracting for the audience. Ballet is not the cinema, there should be basic behavior rules inside the theater like not eating.

  • It was captivating

    by Renaissance58 on 1/5/25Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 5 out of 5

The Ballet and Costumes were exquisite! Academy Award winning. Too bad they didn't have any merchandise besides T-shirts, photos, and Ballet Dancer Christmads ornaments. Really liked that there was autograph session @ the end of the Performance. Nice surprise!

  • Enchanting

Beautiful performance. The ballet dancers are ethereal & enchanting. A magical night!

  • Uplifting

by Appreciative on 12/31/24Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Overall, a wonderful experience. From parking to the volunteer staff who answered questions, guided us to our seats and were just plain old-fashioned nice. The ballet was spellbinding. Ballerinas floated across the stage and sent the audience into a magical world. During the first half, no one in the audience coughed, sneezed, talked, or fidgeted because the ballerinas captivated us. The only time the audience made sounds was to applaud the talent and skill exhibited on stage. So glad this performance was at The Parker!

  • Extremely Beautiful, Excellent Performance

by cemuin on 12/30/24Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This is the kind of events that makes culture advance big time, even that few are into it. Performance: Excellent; Music: Superb (even with that great sound system recording). One of a kind event, as good as the more famous ones: Mariinsky, Bolshoi, etc. I hope we have the opportunity to see Kiev Ballet with other great performances like Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Giselle, Bayadere, etc. Ukraine: you deserve the best of this world!!!

  • Enchanting!
