Star Wars In Concert was amazing!!

by SomeOcChick on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Bought the tickets for my husband and myself, he is a huge Star Wars fan. The event was a little more than we thought it would be. The music was sublime and the "show" portion that went with the music was outstanding. My husband had a smile on his face the whole time! It some points, I had goosebumps from the whole experience, the surround sound, pyrotechnics, and the lasers were perfect! I can't believe that the huge, three-story HD screen was so clear, brought new light to the scenes being shown. Amazing experience and I'm glad that we went, opportunity of a lifetime!!

    Such a powerful experience!!

by Newbs on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Wow, where do I start? From the moment the curtain dropped I knew I was about to experience a truly amazing event. Spectacular lighting effects, compressed air shots, and flame bursts really tingle your senses. The on screen footage was beautifully edited to the music, with the intense parts often giving me goosebumps. Anthony Daniels is an incredible speaker with so much emotion. He really makes you feel the pain of Anakin Skywalker as he falls from the light side to the dark. Overall this show blew my mind. I only wish there were a few more displays of movie props to view before the show. I will never forget this! I was so glad I got tickets early and got to be on the floor level.

    The Force was with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by jhaigh on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

This concert is a MUST SEE for any Star Wars fan!! My wife and I were blown away by the orchestra and we had to keep reminding ourselves that this was live and not a CD recording. The 3 story tall high definition screen and the accompanying movie clips were amazing! They really helped to tell the story of Star Wars. Anthony Daniels did a wonderful job of narrating the performance. He is such a great story teller and conveyed the drama (and comedy) of Star Wars with ease. The displays of costumes and props was impressive! I also enjoyed being able to have my picture taken with the many Stormtroopers who were roaming the hallways! Overall, it was an amazing night that I will never forget!! Thank you John Williams and George Lucas for sharing your talent and creativity with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A must for Star Wars music fans

    by Tbg1 on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

The orchestra played very well and this is a well designed multi media presentation with a high quality video screen and special effects. Anthony Daniels (C-3po) did a superb job of narrating the presentation and telling the Star Wars Story. The performance lasts about 2 hours with an intermission. Displays around the arena included Star Wars memorabelia to view and t-shirts for purchase. Being a Vader fan is was especially impressed with his costume.

    Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by FamilyofStarWarsFans on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Really Great. We have 2 boys 7 & 10 and they had a great time! The orchestra was perfect and we were right next to them - made it even better!!! The clarity of the video screen was incredible!! The only thing I would have changed would be to have Anthony Daniels microphone turned up. We sat in great seats - sec. 208 row n, and it was not loud enough. Other than that it was fantastic!!!! An awesome memory for the whole family!! A Big Thank you goes out to the many hands and minds that put this together - GREAT JOB!!

    Star Wars says it all

    by 5151 on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Music was great but the stage lights sucked big time. If you like bright lights in your eyes so you can not see the video clips then this is for you!! Bring a visor or hat to block those lights and enjoy the show. NO R2D2 or pod racer on display.

Star Wars In Concert - A must for Star Wars fans!

by Chrispcht on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Wow, what a beautiful performance by an unbelievable orchestra and emotionally narrated by Anthony Daniels (C3PO)! I left very pleased and my 5 year old really enjoyed it also! There are various charaters that you can take pictures with, as well as actual props from the movies.

    Impressive! Most Impressive!

    by Rogue646 on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

From the moment the Star Wars symbol appeared on the huge High Def screen, timed with sound of the booming opening fanfare, until the final note of the closing sequence, I was captivated. The music alone was remarkable. The symphony aboslutely nailed it. The experience of listening to the music, synchronized to various clips from all six movies, took me back to the fantasy of my childhood. To top it all off, a live performance from the Great Anthony Daniels, who narrated the story line throughout the performance. The fans were excited, the energy was intense, and the performance was amazing.

    Amazing in Person, Live

by Beachwooddude on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Sounded beautiful, Nice to finally hear my Beloved songs live. Anthony Daniels was a welcome site to see thru the entire show giving narration. The HD images behind the orchestra were so bright and clear I could not believe it. Only bad thing were the tiny unconfortable seats.$30.00 programs, and expensive shirts.. But loved the music.

    The Most Amazing Concert

by Pakaiya on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

This concert was probably the best I have ever been to. I don't remember going to another concert where I was completely immersed and couldn't take my eyes and ears off the show. The timing of the music to the movie was amazing. The orchestra, choir and director did a fantastic job. I'm so glad I went to this. It is a lifetime experience. If you have a chance to go, do so. You won't regret it.

Star Wars in Concert is a 'must-see'!

by Hansmom on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

My husband and I took our 9 year old Star Wars fan knowing he would love it. The surprise was how much we enjoyed it! The live orchestra and choir were amazing, the multimedia show was spectacular, and Anthony Williams (C3-PO) was perfect. I would highly recommend it to any Star Wars or music fan! It was really exciting to see the props, cosumes, and art work from the saga- my son loved Kit Fisto.

Amazing even for Non-Star Wars fanatics

by cckenagy on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan although I appreciate the movies, George Lucas and John Williams. The orchestra was amazing!! This production was the best of both worlds: a great concert AND a great movie. The video editing was insane and I only know this because that is what my husband does. The scoring was awesome... seamlessly fluid. Anthony Daniels was good as the narrator. My only problem with his part in all this was that he was scripted. I get that for times sake but it would've been nice to see a little more of HIM instead of another script. Overall an amazing show. If you have the chance to see it - GO. Cheers.

by Dite on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

Wonderful for children. My 9 and 11 yr old grandsons applauded throughout and were fascinated with the laser show. Anthony Daniels brought the saga to life. The chorus and orchestra were top rate. The display of Star Wars costumes and props were so amazing. Bring your camera and take pictures with your favorite Star Wars characters.

by eceborg on 10/2/09Honda Center - Anaheim

This was the best review of all 6 films you could ever have.. I went with a friend who didn't even know much about Star Wars and he loved it..
