St. Louis Ambush at the Family Arena
Going to a St. Louis Ambush indoor soccer game at the Family Arena is an international affair, with players on the roster hailing from many different countries. Brazilian Coach Hewerton Moreira took over the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) team in 2017 and has presided over the winningest seasons in Ambush history. The team’s stars include Haitian-born forward Max Ferdinand, with over 180 career goals to his name, as well as 2019-20 MASL Rookie of the Year Duduca Carvalho of Brazil, Irish defenseman Vadim Cojocov and American goalkeeper Brett Petricek.
Single-game Ambush tickets offer you the choice to sit in the lower bowl reserved-seating area or have a more freeform hang with friends from the general-admission balcony seats. Season tickets include game-day parking, and some season tickets feature front row seats right on the field. Between entertainment from the Bombshells Dance Team throughout the game and a propensity for one-goal victories, the St. Louis Ambush will get you hooked on the action.
St. Louis Ambush Background
Since their founding in 2013, MASL’s St. Louis Ambush play home games in St. Charles, Missouri, and their home field, Family Arena, sits right across the river from the Hollywood Casino & Hotel. After an embattled beginning as a franchise in the cutthroat MASL, the Ambush found their footing upon hiring Brazilian Coach Hewerton Moreira in 2017. Moreira was a player-coach for his first two seasons before hanging up his cleats and signing an extension to focus solely on coaching the diverse team of international players. Along with Ambush games, the 10,000-capacity Family Arena has hosted a wide range of events including the Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament, the NCAA Women’s Frozen Four, professional wrestling events, and concerts from artists like Foreigner, The Beach Boys and Megadeth.
A few things to improve would be another spot for merchandise sales and more concessions. Sitting in the now what is a "supporters section"to get a drink in a reasonable time is hard to do with all the concessions being all focused on the other side of the arena. Also in my own opinion it's hard to coordinate chants for us in the supporters section with the DJ. Other than that it's a great time!

Exciting game it was my first game ever my daughter was selected to sing "GOD BLESS AMERICA" She did a great job. Such an exciting game down to the last minute with overtime and a great big win for St Louis Ambush. I will definitely go again.

The chairs are dusty and a little worn, the floor is coming up a little, the concession stands are mostly closed, and the fields look in disrepair. The football in display was good, however. I recommend.
This was my first attendance at an Ambush soccer game and I have to say I was impressed!! The fans were awesome. It was like a community of like minded people who enjoyed soccer celebrating together. There were families with young children having fun, soccer teams of all ages having fun together. Everyone cheered together. They rallied the team. The players played hard and they appreciated the fan support! It was an overall great experience!
The whole experience was great! Quick entry, easy to find seats. Great view. Great all the way around!
The St. Louis Ambush are always fun to see. The Family Arena needs some updating but the team is great. We'll worth it
Really disappointed in the experience, especially considering the price we paid for admission, parking and food. This was just a one time thing for us.

This was my son's and my first experience with professional indoor soccer. The venue is great. Clean, easy to get in and out, and friendly staff. The game was great to watch. Lots of action and scoring. Fans were pumped and into the game. Players were engaged with their fans and happy to sign autographsafter the game. Definitely a hidden gem in professional sports. Will go back next season.

If you like fast paced sports, the Ambush put on a good show. The game moves quickly.
We decided to go to this match at the last minute because we realized local mascots would be there. That was the most enjoyable half time I've seen at the Ambush games. The game itself was exciting because both teams kept matching goal for goal. The Ambush prevailed!

Took my two 7 year old granddaughters to their first game. They had a great time. They are currently learning indoor soccer through the St. Charles Parks Dept. It was so much fun seeing them excited and seeing the players do the moves they are learning. They can't wait to come back.

In our opinion the team was hard charging in the first quarter, forgot to show up in the second and third, and came back in the fourth to beat their opponent. Very exciting!
Great family experience - think soccer with a minor league baseball vibe! Ambush have a great thing going !
