  • Awesome Experience

by Mel on 12/12/23American Theatre - HamptonRating: 5 out of 5

The Squirrel Nut Zippers never cease to amazed and provide great music and entertainment. Their eclectic sound is one of their best assets. Highly recommend any chance to hear them live.

  • It was a fun one-time event

by Peg on 12/9/23Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 3 out of 5

Entertaining! Don't think I would see them again but glad I saw them once,

  • Have Some Fun Around the Holidays

by Terpredictor on 12/9/23Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

SNZ puts on a fun show, and the band seems to have as much fun as the crowd. Good show!

  • Nuts about the SNZ Christmas Caravan!

by Brugazi on 12/9/23Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at the Birchmere and seeing the Squirrel Nut Zippers live. They are a must see and unique group of extremely talented musicians. This will be my family’s new holiday tradition. We can’t wait to see them next year!

  • Nut Up

by I R Davo on 6/6/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The Shell is a lovely outdoors, on the grass, bring your own bag chair venue in Memphis. It also is a great supporter of the local arts. The crowd was enthusiastic and polite. Lots of dancers and room for them up front. Venue staffers were polite. The SNZs are wonderfully talented, animated and connect well with their fans. If you can experience this music/show without grinning and dancing, my assessment is that you’re more-than-likely D-E-D. GO PARTAKE IN THESE NUTS, ANYWHERE. You’ll thank yourself (and me) that you did! I hereby extend my “You’re Welcome” in advance.🐿️🌰💤 Drool!!!

  • So Much Fun!

by Jantastic on 6/6/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I loved this concert! I have been wanting to see the Squirrel Nut Zippers since the early 90's and the did not disappoint. They are very animated and I loved the fact there was a dance floor. So fun and energetic!

  • Overton Park Shell - Squirrel Nut Zippers

by MemTigerFan on 6/5/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show at a beautiful venue. Open air amphitheater in a midtown Memphis park. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a performance at the Shell along with your family and friends!

  • Can I Give More Than 5 Stars!!!!

by LauraC on 6/5/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Folks I've been to A LOT of live shows of all different genres, and this was THE MOST FUN EVA! The music was awesome, and the talent and creativity of these guys and gal was off the chart! The sheer number of musical instruments they played, the costuming, the upbeat vibe and the general hilarity of it all was a 10+. I did not stop smiling from the minute they walked on stage until it was over. The audience engagement was remarkable...these are true showpeople who clearly want their audience to have a really, really good time, and they deliver!

  • Great Show, Great Music

    by J. F. on 6/5/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Overton Shell is a beautiful venue and the Squirrel Nut Zippers put on a fantastic show. Their music is fun to listen to, but they engaged the audience until the whole place was involved. However, don't let the showmanship distract you from their music. Those cats can play!

  • Diappointment

by Jack Sprat on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 1 out of 5

Extremely muddled performance with horrible unbalanced sound. No changes of pace and poor communication.

  • Wildly exceeded expectations!

by Kevin S on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This show was unbelievable! What amazing talent! I don't know what was better - Their musicianship with the multiple instruments they played, or their extremely strong vocals. I used to play their CD's years ago and always wanted to see them, but I had no idea they would be this good. Ultra high energy! I would definitely see them again!

  • Best show I’ve seen in 25 years

by Mobo on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I honestly thought the squirrel nut zippers would be awesome, but they far far far exceeded my expectations. One of the best shows I’ve seen in my life. I’ll definitely see them again!

  • Amazing energy!

by Julie B on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The Parker Playhouse is so beautiful! Everyone working there was super friendly. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band was the perfect band to open for the Squirrel Nut Zippers. The show was super charged with energy. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and this show was the best one so far!!!

  • NOISE!

by DermDoc on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 1 out of 5

My Squirrel Nut Zippers CDs are a great sound—audible words, all instruments in balance. Live concert was a cacophony: all sounds blasted into one amorphous noise. Maybe the acoustics contributed to the din, but the performance was terribly frustrating and a major disappointment.

  • All shtick

by Reggier on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

I love the squirrel nut zippers albums, especially their takes on swing. This show was loud and theatrical, but ultimately boring. I did not go to see them try to be sexy ( they aren’t), doing splits and smirks, basically doing a series of novelty songs with little of true musical interest. We left after about 45 minutes. What’s a shame is that the opening act, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, was fantastic. We would gladly have danced to them all evening!

  • High energy and people literally dancing in the aisles!

by Carli on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band was not really our thing, so we waited in the lobby where the sound was a little better. But once the Squirrel Nut Zippers were on the stage to a house that was packed, the energy rose. Couples were literally dancing in the aisles and this theater has enough space to stand and dance a little in front of your own seat. I hadn't seen the Zippers in years, but I'm SO GLAD I saw this show. Worth every penny!!

  • Nice venue with amazing musicians

by Vanessa on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I love the SNZ! Although they are not all originals members, the music speaks for itself. These are a bunch of talented and fun musicians. A great show and sound. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band were also great.

  • Incredible

by tannermar on 2/12/23Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

The energy was unmatched by any performance I have ever seen. The Dirty Dozen are among the most talented musicians I have ever crossed and the squirrel nut zipper's feel and talent is insane. I met Bimbo Mathus afterward which was also a serene experience. Thank you to both bands for enriching my night so heavily.

  • Awesome Energy

    by Rorg1rl on 11/8/22Aura - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment I walked into the venue the energy was buzzing. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band got everyone moving and the Squirrel Nut Zippers kept the party going. Amazing musicians, excellent talent, and fantastic venue!

  • Wonderful evening.

by Tom on 11/7/22The Cabot - BeverlyRating: 5 out of 5

Always one of the most fantastic, foot tapping, balcony shaking shows.
