Squeeze, led by the songwriting duo of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, produced some of the catchiest songs from the ‘70s British new wave scene. The band’s 1978 self-titled debut and follow-up albums Cool for Cats (1979) and Argybargy (1980) produced a number of hits in the U.K., with a few receiving airplay on U.S. college radio, including “Take Me I'm Yours,” “Up the Junction” and the bouncy “Pulling Mussels (From the Shell).” In 1981, Squeeze released their fourth studio album East Side Story, featuring “Tempted.” The song went on to become one of the band’s most famous songs. It has been featured in movies, TV shows, video games and commercials.

Incredible performance - Danced to every song! Brought back great college memories!
It was great show! Vocals still sound the same. They still rock and played their best songs! I'd love to see them again.
Good seats, and sound... amazing that after 50 years in the music biz, their voices were great! The English Beat were a fantastic opening act!
Great energy, Excellent musicians And very entertaining. If you get a chance to see them, don’t miss it!
Great time, band, venue, crowd ready to party. The house was packed. Stood and danced most of the show. Glenn and Chris, plaid suits and all, led a fantastic party!
Squeeze sounded like they just time-traveled from 1981. I was blown away by the richness of their performance.
Tears of joy of those great songs and amazing times attached to them. Loved the new songs as well. Thank you Squeeze ❤
Our seats were excellent! It was a fun evening! I just wish people would sit down more!
Well, my first question is where was the English beat? Part of the reason I got the ticket was for squeeze and the English beat but there is no explanation as to what happened. Overall, a good experience at the MGM sound could be much better. Beers are under 10 bucks so that’s nice squeeze where were the beats?
The Squeeze was great even though there seemed to be a few sound issues, my wife who was not that familiar with them even enjoyed the show. I also enjoyed Glenn Tilbrook's son the opening act. Would see them again in a heartbeat.
Great evening with Squeeze! Played all the hits plus some rarities. Sing-along just like it was the 80's again🎶
Squeeze has always been so underrated, but seeing them live shows that at a whole new level. The musicianship of everyone there was astounding and the greatness of their songs was worth every penny.
extremely disappointed wasn't in full detail that BOY GEORGE wasn't on the Cleveland bill with Squeeze. Asked for a refund, didn't get it.
Hard to believe they have been around for 50 years and sound SO good! I just wish I had the opportunity to see them more!
Boy George and his band were great despite a few sound issues. He gave us all of the hits plus some solid covers - Communards, Gary Numan, Prince, etc.,. Squeeze were SPECTACULAR! Just amazing, powerful sound - Cool For Cats, Up The Junction, Tempted, Coffee In Bed and so many more. Tilbrook and Difford have still got in spades. And the band - what a band. They were all fantastic. Owen Biddle is a legend. I shouldn't really single him out because they were all outstanding, awesome musicians. My son and daughter (early 20s) were blown away seeing and hearing a REAL band performing live. Great show. Great night. I hope that they come back to H-Town next year...
Squeeze and Boy George were so excellent. Musically and visually they were superb. I feel so extremely privileged to have been there!
Boy George and Squeeze were great acts, they did not disappoint. Excellent sound, too. We loved the location, 713 Music Hall. Excellent seating, and distance from the stage was just fine. Getting in/out of the parking lot was a breeze. But the price of food at this venue is outrageous: $14 for a small 6oz can of room-temp white wine and $8 for a diet Pepsi from the well is outrageous. And then on the way out, the cup police makes sure you don't take them (empty) with you. $11 for a stale pretzel or $15 for the smallest (lukewarm) chicken sandwich I've ever seen. This is highway robbery. Really too bad.
They sounded like they did in the 80's! They played for about 75 minutes non-stop, and most of the songs from the Singles album. Everyone there was clearly enjoying this trip down memory lane. Great night. Great fun. Also, Boy George was a joy and beyond entertaining!
I love the layout of this venue. Entry and exit are easy. Restrooms are easy to get in and out of, too. I've been here many times and I'd advise wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants (not shorts) regardless of the season as they keep it way too cold inside. Staffers running around in coats. It's ridiculous.
First off, what a great venue Moody Amphitheater is. Close by parking and easy in and out! Both Boy George and Squeeze were awesome, well worth the wait to see them.
