  • Kaskade threw down

by BigFNDonz on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

All of the artists I saw were awesome to be honest except I'm not a fan of pretty lights. Kaskade's set though was something special. Also I cannot wait to see Destroid again!

  • Absolutely an amazing experience!!

by TabiGato on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I attended Spring Awakening 2014 (Day 3) with friends and it was a BLAST! If I'm still in the area I am definitely going to be there next year!!

  • Day 2 Sucked

by RaveRepeat on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Why were the speakers broken for day 2? Get your stuff together React.

  • Spring Awakening was fun

by Armorri on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Great lineups for each day. Would suggest changing the age limit to at least 18+ because there were literally kids that had to be around 12 or 13 years old there and it was kind of weird.

  • My Son and Nephew Had an amazing time!

by ToddlerTeacher on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My Son and Nephew had a great time at Spring Awakening. They went on all three days and came home at 1:30 am with big smiles on their faces! They loved the music, meeting lots of friends there over the three days and of course the music!

  • SAMF=money!

by JBCommish on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Generally, everything about SAMF was great; lots of varied acts for all ages at an all-ages show; sound system was incredible, and all of the acts I saw started within five minutes of their scheduled times. We did VIP, and generally this was good for my friend and I, since I'm past the crowd-surfing age but wanted good vantage points for the show. VIP at the smaller stages were better than the VIP area at the Bud Light Platinum area...and getting to VIP in the Platinum area was a nightmare, especially during Tiesto and Kaskade's performances. Drink choices in VIP were a bit of a joke; $10 for mixed drinks that had so little alcohol that it would take 5-6 drinks to feel the effects isn't the way to win me over! Biggest problem with the show came on Friday night; we waited 50 minutes to get our tickets in the Will Call line, which was disorganized and didn't feature a separate VIP will call line. (Oh, THIS is what I paid $350 for...) Two of the reps I spoke to seemed disappointed by this process, and there were four attempts to buy my spot in line by people who didn't want to wait...and I can't blame them! Overall--I would go back, but I'm going to think hard about just doing "peasant" (non-VIP) tix next year for a three-day pass.

  • Spring Awakening VIP bomb

    by Sandpile62 on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

First, let me say the performers were all great! I would recommend seeing all of them! However, this was the poorest ran event I ever attended. VIP was will call only - it took over 2 hours to get tickets and wrist bands I already paid for. We didn't get into the event until 8 p.m. If it is ran this way again next year, we won't be going.

Fantastic lineup, incredible show! Is a must for any EDM fans!

  • GREAT artists, BAD sound system

    by JESS773 on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

This was my third year anniversary at Spring Awakening. This used to be my favorite music festival but this year was a huge disappointment. Not only was the stages extremely over packed but the sound system quality was extremely horrible. The bass in the main stage inside of Soldier Field was way too loud, taking away from the quality of the music and the beat of the music. The only way to enjoy it was to step into the stands where the sounds bounced off the dome. However, when you do this, you lose the intimacy of the stage production. As for the outside stages, the sound was way too low. The only positive thing to say about this venue/event was the multiple indoor bathrooms and abundant beer stands.

  • I would not pay full retail for this event

by angrymonkeyz on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

2013 was amzazing. 2014 did not live up to the hype however. The lineup needed improvement.

  • Big Gigantic was amazing!

by DissapointedVIP on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

In a nut shell the sound on the main stage was poor. The only place the sound remotely sounded good was in the middle (makes sense), but at most shows the sound at least radiates to the sides. This was not the case and was very frustrating. Last year the VIP section stuck out into the stage instead of just covering the sides. I got VIP because I thought it would be the same. Since the sound sucked on the sides I did not spend much time in the VIP. Also, the VIP mixed drinks were disgusting. They were gross because they were way too strong for those tiny plastic cups you had the bartenders putting them in. My jameson and ginger tasted like jameson with maybe a splash of ginger. One thing that I will give some credit to you for is the portable bathrooms were actually really clean this year. Thank you for that.

My daughter did not get to attend this event! And nobody would buy the tickets and ticketmaster would not refund money...even credit! I purchased the extra insurance, but they would not help either! The only way they cover is if your in an accident, die or your plane gets delayed or something. Pretty sad! I will never buy from here again!

  • Epic

by DJPruce on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great all around party. Security wasn't too tight. Crowd was fairly friendly. Drinks were expensive, but no more than what I was expecting for type of event. Will definitely go again.

  • Incredible

    by Soconn13 on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

You absolutely 1,000% cannot miss this event if you're able to go. Seriously.

  • Literally a million breath taking moments

by Magicyayo on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Best festival, tons of good vibes. Great djs everyone loves you at spring awakening

  • by Waspy4 on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The shows were great! Drink prices were ridiculous, water stations were scarce (so lines were long) and the venue was over-packed. Fun for the most part, but changes should occur.

  • Amazing

SAMF WAS BEYOND THE BEST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD IT WAS MY FIRST TIME GOING TO AN EVENT LIKE THIS AND MY GOODNESS IT WONT BE THE LAST :)

  • by Anonymous on 6/18/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

After three years attending all three days of this festival, I was extremely disappointed in this years event. First, the sound was messed up. All that could be heard was booming on most stages. Many songs were unrecognizable unless you were right up by the stage. However, it was impossible to get closer to the stage for many performers because the festival was oversold. Way too many people this year! I doubt I will return next year unless these issues are addressed.
