This festival was my very first festival of my life as well as concert. It was a perfect pick if I do say so myself. I have always been a lover of EDM and when I walked in at the entrance I felt at home. Being at the Bud Lite Premium stage front row was something I'll never forget. Being able to pull in Midnight Conspiracy and getting the t-shirt that was thrown in made my day. When Tiesto said "Hello Chicago! My name is Tiesto, are you ready to party?" Made te whole event 1000x better. I am such a huge fan and being front row with all that bass hitting me and all those sick beats killed it. I would totally recommend this event to anyone and I WILL be going next year! But along with the good there is the bad. I have asthma so it was super HARD to breathe due to everyone smoking cigarettes and the overwhelming smell of marijuana. Also my vibe got killed due to so any people trying to fight to get to the front. Everyone was so rude but also there were amazing people. There should be a no smoking rule next year to make it a whole lot better.
Im speechless it was great and so much fun cant wait till next year
Spring Awakening is a must go for everyone at LEAST once. It is a life changing environment and so much fun!
Best experience of my life! Loved every headliner. Constant three day dance party!
If you can listen to literally the same songs over and over, then this fest is for you. But if you like a change up, then I would steer clear. The layout is nice, but everything is pretty crappy. You don't get a wristband, the food selections suck, and a lot of the people there aren't very, well, classy.
Such an amazing time! It was a blast and the venue was perfect.
Everyone was awesome!! Tiesto, Steve aoki, carnage, Nervo, Diplo. Bingo players, kaskade, blasterjaxx, and Benny!
The lineup was great, can't beat the sets that where played... possible is deadmau5 was there it would be a different story. The only problem I did have though where the little kids walking around all fucked up on drugs. I don't understand why there isn't a age requirement to this event, but there should be.
The artist lineup is what drew me to this festival. I purchased 3 day VIP tickets to avoid being bumped around by kids, to have the ability to enjoy premium beverages, and for convenience of navigating the event. I was shocked that they had ONLY 2 BOOTHS for VIP check in the first day. It took an hour JUST TO PICK UP my wristbands and tickets. The check in process for VIP was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS, and I ended up missing an entire performance while waiting. They shut down the VIP bars about a half hour before the event was over each night. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't at least sell water, as we had quite a hike to get out of the stadium and out to transportation. The main stage VIP areas did not have VIP bathrooms. Stage 2 sound quality was poor. Stage 3 was disgustingly hot. VIP access was good at stage 3, but it had to be at least 115 degrees in there. The security allowed me to bring my water bottle into the event the first day, but made me throw it away the second day. Why do you provide water fill stations when you won't allow your guests to carry their own containers? As long as containers are empty on arrival, I don't see a problem with bringing in a water canteen to an all day event in the summer time. All in all, I had a good time at all the performances I saw. I just don't think I received VIP treatment for what I paid.
I'm only 18 so I guess I shouldn't really be talking, but the amount of YOUNG kids especially girls there was sickening. Music was good but the crowd was horrible.
This festival was amazing. I loved that I never had to stand in a line for a drink. The bathroom lines weren't long at all. The stages were set up very well and I didn't have to walk too far to get to where I wanted to go. Soldier Field was an amazing place for a main stage. Definitely will be coming back next year :)
Best weekend of my life! The Sets were amazing, great people & good vibes!
This was an amazing event if u r into edm this is a festival for u it's a life changing experince that will have u on the edge of your seat even tho u will be dancing the whole time the service is really good the area is clean they did a great job on making it a safe area the music was great the sound was amazing great light show and firework display at the end of each night it was an amazing 3 days prolly best 3 days in my life so if u get a chance next year I defiantly recommend u go and see how amazing it is for your self
Chicago knows how to get down and party hard! Amazing people and amazing music overall good vibes. Spring Awakening is all about having a good time and making good memories.. Met lots of people that I wont forget and saw artists I'll remember forever! Everyone at Spring Awakening is like a family "We are separate people but we move as one." Have a p.l.u.r tactic day!
A music festival like this when surrounded by amazing friends, family, and EDM will always be an unforgettable experience. The memories we make will live on forever. However, I will say the main reason we went to Spring Awakening was because EDC Chicago did not return this year. I definitely do not regret going but I think, considering the really good lineup, the song selections could've been better. Too many beats/music sounding all similar and not enough lyrics to sing along to. Overall a great time though!
By far one of the coolest events you can go too, only down side is some of the VIP sections didn't feel like VIP seeing how far away from the stage you were. Highly recommend to anyone looking to go to a festival. Will be going back next year for sure!
This edm festival was an amazing experience shared with my rave buddy, we met so many friendly people and got to check out some new djs as well as our favorites, this is an event you don't wanna miss
Bought VIP tickets back in March for 350 and I show up at the event and have to wait in the same line as those walking up to buy tickets. Totally disorganized, long lines, completely redic. Waited in line 45 minutes while the concert was going on. I want a refund. Will never go back. VIP drink lines were too long and bartenders had poor awareness and didn't know what the hell they were doing.
It was my first year going to Spring Awakening and let me just say IT WAS HEAVEN ON EARTH. So many wonderful and accepting people!
