Rating: 4 out of 5 Amazing sound, light show overdone
by gethyper on 2/18/14The Theatre at Ace - Los AngelesAmazing venue and music. Lights were overdone, blinding and took away from the experience. Five stars if lights were toned down.

by Karnifex on 2/18/14The Theatre at Ace - Los AngelesWhen it all ended, I quickly came to realize that Spirtiualized live with orchestra and choir accompaniment was probably one of the most professional and mindblowing concerts I've ever seen. I've been to a lot of shows, but nothing like this. Not to mention their most acclaimed album was played in its entirety. Jason Pierce (Spaceman) is just a good live as he is on the albums. And the band blew me away. The lights and stage presence were overwhelming in the best way. Go see them!

by waybr27 on 9/17/13Webster Hall - New YorkThe show was outstandingly good! I'm happy that they rocked us for 2 hours straight! Glad I bought this ticket way in advance or I couldn't have gone. I recommend anyone go see Spiritualized anytime they come around!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Another superb Spiritualized show!
by cbgb1977 on 9/13/13Webster Hall - New YorkExcellent sound and performance. In comparing this to the last time Spiritualized was in town at Radio City Music Hall, the biggest difference was the venue choice. During the slower and mid-tempo songs, general admission (standing) was definitely not as good as chilling back in comfort in seats. Also Radio City while it sells booze, does not seem like a club atmosphere and so the fans don't get as blasted and chat over the band nearly as much. There were some chatty drunk girls near me that definitely detracted from the show, talking through classics like "Think I'm In Love." Most Spiritualized fans are not nearly that casual, and at Radio City there was an atmosphere of respectful attention to the amazing show the band put on. Although the band was a little smaller this time out, less gospely backup singers, it was still large enough to cover all the sonic details. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the venue's effect on my experience. Been to Webster many many times and I'm not hating on the venue, though it was a little hot on the floor. It's just that Radio City is far far superior.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Great Show
by MrVertigo on 9/13/13Webster Hall - New YorkAs usual, Spiritualized layed it down though I wish it was a bit louder. Seemed subdued at times. I would argue that I've seen a more transcendent Spiritualized, they still showed what it was all about: Heartbreak, redemption and triumph.

by SharleenShanley on 6/15/12Paradise Rock Club - BostonMy best friend and I had been waiting for about six years to see J. Spaceman & Spiritualized live and it was well worth it. We had a fantastic time, and, apparently, so did everyone else; I got the distinct impression a lot of people had been looking forward to this show as much as the pair of us.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Wow
by boggart on 8/2/10Radio City - NYCI saw Spiritualized in 2001 and only remembered because I had bought a t-shirt. It wasn't a memorable nor exciting concert. However this truely blew me away. The acoustics were phenomenonal, the tempo and the bass were perfect and every song was an absolute hit. Never been to Radio City before but I feel like this was extra special particularly as it was the last time they will play the album in full
