Southside Johnny Tickets

Southside was not his usual rockin self. He sang a song two times- Love on the wrong side of town. I do not like the house of blues! The ticket said the concert started at 8:00pm. We waited an hour to get in. Security was a joke. They made us put on wrist bands & for what reason? This was an older crowd. They treated us like we were teenagers! There was a openig act that was not on the bill when we bought the tickets. They played for about 45 minutes. Southside came on & played 2 hours & about 20 minutes but alot of it was disappointing. I've seen Southside about 50 times & this is probably the last. And never at the House of Blues. The price the charge they can afford more seating!

while standing in line at the house of blues for one hour i was ready to rock and roll to the sounds of southside johnny. i was a little put out that the concert did not start on time causing the doors not to be opened for quite a while..(we're not that young anymore and standing in line was causing a few people to become exhausted and angered). but, the show went on with the opening act which overall was very good. a very packed night at the house of blues finally opened with southside johnny belting out some of his old tunes. things did get a little slow in the middle though with a lot of slow songs in a row. fans were noticebly getting bored awaiting "we're having a party". He played for quite awhile making it a very recommended night!

Just like old times. Southside Johnny has not lost a beat. His energy level was like I saw in the 80's! He ended up sweat-soaked and sexy looking!

Great Show. Southside was in rare form and great voice. He took me back to my high school days with his selection of songs, and the crowd loved every minute of it. He made me laugh and stand up and sing along. If you get a chance go to see them. The set list included covers of John Lee Hooker, and J, Geils.

The music was hot but the club was even hotter ... this is the second time I have gone to a concert at the House of Blues in Cleveland and both times the club could have doubled as a steam room. Time for this club to add updated the AC or add some serious fans on the ground floor! Aside from the club, the music was great. Southside Johnny really got the pld people moving.

I have seen quite a few Southside Johnny shows in the past. Last night's show at the House Of Blues was fantastic!!!! Southside and the Jukes played all the past hits, as well as songs as I haven't heard. Talk about Having A Party!!! That's what last nights show was... one big party!!!! It was a raucous show right from the beginning when the band stepped on stage. I couldn't stop smiling the whole show. Thanks Southside!!!!!!

With over 30 years of experience of watching this guy and others like him I pretty much knew going into the show what to expect. But his performance at this show was far above my expectations. I was captivated by Southside Johnny's performance. His singing was impressive. The band was tight and probably the best rendition he has had in ten years. The song versions were as least as good as the original versions and in most cases far superior. His cover of "Can I get a Witness" blew the house down. I could go on and on. Wow what a show!
