Southside Johnny Tickets

Great vocals and arrangements but the guys on the sound controls seemed to drown out the horn section which is one of the most important factors in Southside's music.

A consumate east coast tri-state area Rocker with a voice that cannot be compared to anyone in all of Rock and Roll. Funny, spot-on, electrifying, sax and horn section was outstanding, guitars were spectacular, and the songs - especially, Walk Away Rene and Talk to Me, were better than I remember 25 years ago in NJ!

I've seen Southside a hundred times and he never ceases to amaze me. He is the hardest working performer in rock and roll. I've never seen anyone put so much energy into his show. The two hour show seemed it was over in minutes. I didn't want it to end. I wanted more. It's a blast from start to finish. He has never disappointed and from watching others they weren't disappointed either. The band was fantastic and the interaction Southside has with his audience is the best. I wanted the show to go on forever. It was worth every penny. If you have never been to a Southside Show I highly recommend it. I know next time he's in the area I'll be there. I hope its soon.

There has not been a time when I have gone to a Southside Johnny & the Jukes concert that I did not have a fantastic time. They ROCK!! Not only does he have a fabulous, fantastic sound, but he's quite a performer along with the Jukes. Southside has a way of elevating every song he does, and it was a certain demonstration of this when he sang "Happy" as well as with "Walk Away Renee". Can't wait until Southside returns again and until next New Year's Eve. I just wish they had recorded this performance. Awesome!! Love you Southside Johnny!...

Always an entertaining show - every one of the 2 dozen or so I've seen over 35 years. Boy can he perform on stage, he played for over 2 1/2 hours playing most of all his hits, he even let the lead guitarist perform one of his songs and have his son on stage with him. He seemed to interact with the crowd more this time than other times I saw him.

As always, Southside Johnny was great! Every concert is different, with a terrific mix of tunes and Johnny even took a couple of requests. You got to love the horn section. For a bunch of old men (mostly), they ROCK. And then there were The Fools, a band remembered from my misspent youth, I first saw them 35 years ago, and they still do "business as usual". Total fun!

My ears are still recovering from a loud and thoroughly enjoyable show by SSJ and crew. No sign of the band losing its edge or their ability to get a crowd up and dancing. The boys played all the usual favorites and a couple of entertaining cover tunes. The Casino Ballroom was packed with late summer Hamptom Beach revelers. The crowd consisted of 20 somethings to 60 somethings with one common goal...closing out Summer 2009 with some good old fashioned rock and roll. Overall, great night in Hampton Beach. Southside Johnny continued to prove that the boys of the Jersey Shore have true blue rock and roll coursing through their veings.

The show was fantastic. The only problem there is the waitress had trouble seeing her orders, the rows were too close together. She spilled all thedrinks on the floor and customers.

It was a great night at the Hampton Beach, Saturday. It was a LONG night too. Two and half hours of non-stop pleasure! "Anxious" was certainly a memorable moment in the show. And SSJ instructing the gal from Georgia(a first timer?) how to 'touch the sky' a hilarious point before breaking into a rockin' "Born To Be Wild". Best Jukes concerts become subjective after awhile but, for me, this had to be up there. What a way to end summer around here!

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes played better than i have seen in years. Great set list, great fun, feeling and great moment with bobby and his son. The band seemed to work better than ever together. i'm a long time fan and these guys mean alot to me, so i could not have been more pleased with the show.

opened with the FOOLS, that was interesting. Southside always is energetic, All the members are great. What a great show, a fun event and the perfect ending to the summer. The Beach Casino is a great spot. Not a bad seat in the house.

After many years and lots of time on the road Southside Johnny is still one of the best showmen on the planet. He and his incredible band played for a solid 2+ hours and came back for two extended encores! The horn section was enthusiastic and everyone on stage seemed like they were really having a great time. I can't wait to see him again.

Great opening act The FOOLS fun, entertaining and I would not only see them again but I would recommend them to others to enjoy. What can I say Southside Johnny ROCKS the NIGHT AWAY. A show of great music and enternainment. The band did not put on a medorca show but a energizing show. GO SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The place was packed and the sound was loud! Southside Johnny was every bit of himself and fun for the whole crowd. He was in good voice and good spirits and the band was fantastic.

Southside Johnny put on an awesome show ! The band was tight, seemed like they would play all nite ! Song after song the same energy from the first to the closing number !

I have been to three SSJ shows now since living in Cleveland. 1) Rib cook-off - great show too far away. 2) Agoura last year - awesome show played with Stone Pony and this being 3)...no place like HOB to see a show. I do wish sometimes there were seats. The guys in front of me were sooo tall. But the show was great. Music rocked and that band played on...I don't want to go home!!! I am a huge HOB fan. Love that place. SSJ is a great gig and I will see them when ever they come to Cleveland...

I don't quite know where SSJ gets his energy, but he was rockin nonstop! I would definitely go to see him again. His band was spectacular as well, the Asbury Jukes are a most amazingly talented band.
