Been there done that for a while now but it's very very out of character that the University Commercials are not promoted at some point during a football game or athletic event. The Classic promoters need to do a better job with finding ways to promote the HBCU’s during this once a year event.
As a group of mature women, 70 plus in age, the four of us require accessible seating. Thus, we purchased that type of seating. Upon arriving at the stadium, we were informed that there was no seating of that type in the area indicated on our online tickets and were directed to the section on our tickets where handicapped seating was available. There were no chairs there but we found four chairs and placed them there. However, a short time later, a lady arrived with a paper ticket and claimed the four spots. She was very irate and hostile because we would not give up the chairs we had found. We were at loss as was the stadium assistant as he knew of no accessible seats that were assigned to us in that section, approximately 40 to 50 rows up!!!!! Nevermind the fact that all four of us maintain handicap placards for our cars. Thankfully, two young ladies, in their twenties who had purchased accessible seating but had no chairs, allowed us to perch there for the entire time of the game. I have recounted this story to say that some method of verification should be used for purchasing handicapped seats. There were people as young as 10-12 years old in the seats! Then, there were those young fans who simply wanted a seat with a back on it and because all others had been sold out, they purchased handicapped seating. As senior citizens, who have grandchildren playing on TSUs team, we were excited about attending and supporting our children. However, the whole seating fiasco took away a lot of the excitement and enthusiasm which we had upon entering the stadium. There has to be a better method in selling these seats! Other than this, it was a fantastic night.
Well I had a lot of trouble getting my ticket pulled up and me and my wife and the stadium official tried everything to get the ticket’s off the phone.By the time we got them it’s was halftime and that’s the only thing that went wrong
The parking was unreal. I showed up at the game 3 hours early and still got in the game after the first quarter. The parking plan needs to be fixed. The game itself was awesome atmosphere was great

Everything went great and exciting. The classic always on point and thanks to you guys Ticketmaster I don’t have to stand in line for a ticket

We brought 22 people to watch the southern heritage classic and everyone had a great time.
Easy access to the stadium and seating Unlike most years, it was a clean game with the exception of the Tarketing call on the first series.
The game starts at 6PM. You can't get into the stadium until 5:30 PM. You have to be there by 12 noon to get parking.
The game was awesome!! Me and my Brother had a great time.
I hate it was the last one! I really enjoyed myself!
This tradition was and has been great fun each and every time! The tailgate, the parade, the game and the concerts were awesome 👏🏽

I really enjoyed the final Southern Heritage Classic especially the halftime battle of the bands. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall vibe and the positive fans of both teams. I always go to support the HBCU schools and young athletes and I hope they can work something out to continue the games.
All of the prepaid parking pass had been sold out.We drove around for one hour looking for parking.We subsequently parked on someone's lawn for $20.We missed the first half and the Battle Of The Bands.I could not bring the tickets up on the app without it disappearing there after. I stood in the line with fifty other people with the same problem. I did not see any ushers to assist with disputes with seating.
The Southern Heritage Classic is just more than the game its the whole experience from the football game down to the battle of the bands it’s just a nice wonderful experience and I hope the classic lives on despite Jackson State leaving but I think it needs to continue because it brings everybody together in unity for a great event
This was my first time attending the classic. The energy was everything. Me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves alot. The only thing that really sucked was parking. We missed the kickoff and everything due to parking but still a great time.
Getting to the stadium I didn’t like when I was trying to pull up my tickets on the Ticketmaster app and in my email I kept getting a error message then had to walk around to gate 1 so my tickets could be printed out but after getting into the game I had a great time
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the game and the bands. It was a great experience and I am glad I got the opportunity to attend such an impactful event!
