My first time at a game in maybe a decade, it was a fantastic game that went down to the wire...The JSU band performed as only the boom can, JSU won the game, and there was a spectacular fireworks show at the end. Fantastic experience.
I am always sad when its over, it was awesome!!!!!
This year's game was a nail biter! Just when you thought TSU had it locked down, JSU rallied back. Then, when JSU had a comfortable lead, TSU came back and at the end could have very well tied up the game and send it into overtime! This was a great game for the 21st year of a spectacular event. The highlight of the game other than the game itself...THE BANDS! Both bands were amazing and were really prepared for the battle before, during, and after the game! Tiger Lane was wonderful and added even more fun for children of all ages! Each school should be proud of it's administration, students, alumni, and friends! It is true, people come in from all over the country to participate in the weekend's activities. This year's event did not disappoint!
Overall the entry way into the game was smooth. $ 20 for parking is steep, the ticket at $30+ was probably why the stands were not full, and $ 3.50 for drinks, come on now. The Event Staff was on the Job. Security was everywhere so we felt safe. The fireworks show at the end was spectacular. A great game. Excellent half time show. I would like the stands full.
the Ricky Smiley Comedy show was the best that I have ever attended! Ricky, Special K, Big Sean and D. Ellis were all so funny that it hurt! Then the game was great! The crowd and teams were amazing! All around enjoyable experience.
This event was well coordinated and wonderful. The facility was beautifully maintained. THoroughly enjoyed myself.
The game was very good. The bands were very good. And there was plenty of good food everywhere.

Other than a female sergeant being rude and inconsiderate, I had an awesome time at the Southern Heritage Classic. I will be going back on next year.
