The fact that it rained the entire weekend was certainly dampening (pun intended) to the joy of the event. But it did give us a break on Saturday at a crucial point. Overall, it was still a lot of fun. It's always great seeing people each year.
Good fellowship Friends and family.. it was one of the best tailgating experiences I’ve had..

This was a wonderful event. The tailgating was awesome! Everyone was one accord. The game was excellent and safe. Lastly, the bands were awesome!

My experience with the Ticketmaster app was outstanding! I was able to use my smart phone as my "ticket"to enter into the gate to the football game. It was a pleasant experience! I highly recommend this app to anyone who buys tickets for any event who sells tickets to the public for any event, whether it is a concert, sport, or any other type of event.
Always a great time. TSU band never disappoints. UAPB band wasn’t bad. Close game made more exciting.
I had a great time at the game even though JSU was participating this year. The festivity were rich with culture.
Those were some excellent seats. I could see all the action and thinking about getting some similar seats for next year
Please bring Jackson State University back, the classic just wasn’t the same.
Great Seats Great Weather Wonderful Game The Bands were Excellent Wish they had more golf carts to shuttle you to your gates. Handicapped people with canes or without could not walk to the stadium from the shuttle buses, it was toooooo far. The food was ok. It was the 1st time that I had a bad tasting Pronto Pup. Even the Mustard tasted BAD! THE Chicken strips and stuff were too high! Then they were FRIED!
Great events but the parking situation was horrible. I wish there were more spaces at the stadium.
I’m new to Memphis but I love HBCU culture & football season so this was perfect. They had so many events planned for the weekend and I wish I could’ve attended! I will return next year!

I am used to JSU being there but I have to honestly say that UAPB BROUGHT IT! They brought the fun, fans, and funk! The crowd made the culture that the SHC is and has been. I would love to see JSU back in the SHC, but, if not, I think that the UAPB will do!
It was great to see so many beautiful Africans in a space sharing culture and love!
Traffic was very busy and congested. For big games would recommend getting into traffic an hour or so early. Could use better parking methods
The 33rd Annual Southern Heritage Classic was THEE BEST Southern Heritage Classic I've attended! This year was different than any other year to say the most, but the atmosphere was REALLY the best! This year seemed like the Essence Festival! I really enjoyed this year's Classic!
Order the ticket from the ticketmaster appl and used them at the jackson state in memphis at the liberty bowl stadium
