  • They seemed very tired too me.

by Rob on 5/21/23Blueberry Hill Duck Room - St LouisRating: 2 out of 5

I’ve been going to SCOTS concerts for thirty years when they are in St Louis. I didn’t experience the energy I was expecting to see or feel. They seem a bit tired with little to no enthusiasm they once had. Additionally, Mary had to keep asking the Duck-room staff to adjust the lighting to the stage. At one time the lighting went completely off for a few seconds. They didn’t even perform one of their signature songs, “Eight piece box” where they throw chicken out to the audience. They had the chicken out and ready to go, just ended the show with passing the box around and not performing the song. They did perform some of their best songs, that was good. But overall a very underwhelming experience for me this time. With that said, I may not see them again with the show trending downwards at it is. For others, I hope they find a way to bring back the energy they once had, long ago.

  • Fun night Fun music

More fun than we had all year! Bands an old favorite!!!

  • Three bands in two!

by Duke on 10/11/22Beachland Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Opening band made up of Jon Spencer and ex-Sonic Youth members. The audience loved 'em. SCOTS put on al powerhouse epic guitar fueled, funky good time for all of them Camel Walkers. Fun crowd, and a big thank you to Beachland Ballroom for another great night. My favorite local place for music.

  • Great Show

    by Becky D. on 10/10/22Beachland Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Always plays their hits and throws out new songs. This band has never disappointed. Opening act was cool also. They looked great and sounded even better. Have seen them consistently for 25 years. I have loved every show! Beachland Ballroom is always a great venue to see a band. Makes you feel like your at a private show but actually there are several hundred people there

  • SCOTS worth the wait

by Joe on 10/10/22Beachland Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 4 out of 5

Not a big fan of the opener. Just not my taste. SCOTS was awesome. Other than skipping a few songs I was hoping to hear - fantastic. They were gracious enough to take pictures after the show. Has a great time. Will see them again next time around for sure.

  • Headliner was worth the wait

by Joe on 10/10/22Beachland Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 4 out of 5

Jon Spencer was OK. Not big on political songs. SCOTS could have picked a better headliner in my opinion….. but hey maybe others liked him. It just want for me. Other than skipping a few songs I was hoping to hear they were great. Sounded great…. a great time overall. They were gracious enough to pose for a few pics after the show. Will definitely see them again.

  • More than expected

Awesome show. We had a great time. They even stayed after and signed a poster for my son's first concert. Keep rocking

  • Always a fun band!

    by 2dgym0107 on 10/10/22Beachland Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

This is probably the 6th or 7th time I've seen SCOTUS and they're always a lot of fun to see live. They played for about 2 hours and I literally thought only an hour had passed.

  • Love these guys!!!

by Dano on 9/27/19Tralf - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

The only problem is they don’t get to Buffalo often enough. Great rock n roll show. Chicken!!!!!!!!

  • No Chairs

by Chake on 5/28/18Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St LouisRating: 2 out of 5

Both the Trip Daddys and Southern Culture were fantastic. Very Talented. My only complaint was that there was no place to sit for those of us with issues standing for such a long period of time. But I want to express just how great the music was. I would definitely want to see them again.

Southern Culture On The Skids performance was outstanding at the Colonial Quarter in St. Augustine. It was a night filled with dancing to some great tunes at a great outdoor venue. Look forward to next year!

  • Southern Culture was Fantastic!!

by Honeylyn on 3/11/15Colonial Quarter Saint Augustine - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Great Venue in Colonial Quarter. The huge Oak tree with hanging lanterns was beautiful. It felt like I was in a private party. Lots of drink options and food. Southern Culture is as good as they ever was! I've loved this band for 18 years. Their performance was terrific performing their classics, "Firefly", "Banana Pudding", "Walk Like a Camel" and more in an hour and half. The cover band was awesome too. Thank you St Johns County and City of St. Augustine for bring this to downtown St. Augustine!

  • SCOTS - Amazing

by Jakobi1974 on 3/11/15Colonial Quarter Saint Augustine - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

SCOTS put on an amazing show, tons of energy & fried chicken!!

  • by SuperFly29 on 9/20/10Rhythm Room - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

The band still puts on the best show in the business. Took 6 SCOTS virgins and they were blown away and were singing Banana Puudding all weekend!!!

  • The best band in a long time

by Anonymous on 9/20/10Rhythm Room - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

Some bands are better in concert and this is one of them. Dont get me wrong I love their music and was glad they were coming to Phoenix but, in concert they were over the top to quote an overused phrase. The showmanship was as good as the music. They did not do any of my favorites, which usually bugs me, and it was still one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Even their sound system was dialed in. I hope they come back to see us real soon.

  • by RetroCouple on 9/20/10Rhythm Room - PhoenixRating: 4 out of 5

Happy to see them again after 6 yrs. Venue is great and they can still jam.
