Loved the classic songs. The actors were great. Lots of energy in the theatre. Thank you for a great show.
Very good, and entertaining. Enjoyed the music throughout the play.
Two lead singers, Nellie Forbush and Emile de Becque stole the show!
The musical was fantastic. The male lead had an awesome voice. The entire show was wonderful.
I absolutely loved this show! I thought all of the actors did a wonderful job and the orchestra also did a beautiful job!
It was a very well implemented play. The main actress has a very good voice. The show was fun.
I thought the play was unforgettable!!! The music, the voices, the scenery were A#1. I took my adult son for his birthday and he didn't seem too enthusiastic when I invited him. After the show was over, he thanked me over and over again.
I found all aspects of the play phenomenal The music, actors, scenery were all great. I guess my only complaint is that the play was long...90 minutes before intermission, and the play was 3 hours.
A play ahead of its time. Wonderful music to complement a love story in the South Pacific set in WWII.
Hard time finding theater,so we were half hour late. Some of the actors voices were weak, and did not carrie very well.
We saw South Pacific at the Indiana University Auditorium. The performance was excellent but the temperature in the auditorium was so cold, all four of us (two men included) were absolutely freezing. Made it very hard to enjoy the show.
Outstanding production. Very professionally done. The acting and singing were superb.
Singing for the most part was excellent, especially the male and female leads. Supporting cast was also very good in contributing to the richness and mood of the play. Scenery was done very well and changes were carried out very smoothly.
I really enjoy the show and the music it was so great
This was the second time I've seen South Pacific. The first time I saw it was the original on Broadway when I was about 12 years old a long time ago. The music from South Pacific never really left my brain especially " Some Enchanted Evening" which when I married I sang to my husband over the years.. Friday 03/23/2012, I saw a fantastic show which great acting, great singing and great memories of a long time ago. The song "Some Enchanted Evening" brought great memories, tears and I wished my husband was there with me one more time to hold his hand. I recommend this great show, It was as good as the original one I saw on Broadway a long time ago.
South Pacific was a wonderful play and an great story. I enjoyed every minute!
Very well done, strong performance by most cast members. My mother truly enjoyed the show.
Best money I ever spent. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First and foremost, the address for the cultural center is NORTH washington avenue, not south. Not being familiar with Scranton, I spent 30 minutes trying to find the venue. Luckily, I found the police station and was correctly directed to the theater. The play was fantastic, the voices were so much more than I had hoped for and the acting was Broadway caliber. My wife and I moved to Tafton PA Feb 2011 from Brooklyn and were really missing the plays and musicals that we were used to attending. We have found a new love in the Scranton Cultural Center. While this was our first experience there, we are looking forward to a long and happy relationship with them. Keep up the good work!!!!!
This is my favorite Broadway show. I loive the story and I love the musci. The singing and acting in this performance was top-notch. I enjoyed it immensely!
