SOFI TUKKER, AKA best friends Sophie Hawley-Weld & Tucker Halpern, are a dance driven force to be reckoned with. After meeting during their senior year at Brown University in 2014, Halpern convinced Hawley-Weld to take a leap of faith and move out to New York City so that the two could make music together. Shortly after in 2017, the duo’s debut single, “Drinkee,” was nominated for a Grammy and quickly followed by a second Grammy nomination for their debut album Treehouse. Now, SOFI TUKKER have earned platinum and gold record sales on five continents, No. 1 records on multiple radio formats and over a billion streams and counting. Their upcoming album, BREAD — which is an acronym for “Be really energetic and dance” — is their most innovative work yet, and is set to guide the duo into a new era of connection with fans all over the world.

I saw Sofo Tukker this week in Dallas. I was a little let down by the energy. The venue, SILO, was small and i thought would be perfect for this show. I dont know if it was me or what. Im a big fan just wasnt happy with this live show. Id give it a second chance.
I am giving this 3 stars instead of 2 because I do not want to discredit the skill and enthusiasm of the backup dancers - I loved them. As someone who fervently avoids arenas and prefers small venues or outdoor venues, I was skeptical of this show from the jump. After two extra lengthy openers (two hours of them on a weeknight) I was pleasantly energized by the energy of Sofi Tukker at the beginning of the set. When was the last time I had been to a show with backup dancers and choreography? High school - Destiny's Child. After several songs, that energy waned to wariness as I realized they were very clearly - lip-syncing. Even Destiny's Child did not lip sync and they were doing full-scale cardiovascular choreography in six-inch heels and singing perfectly and doing so live. The show tainted my view of Sofi Tukker to the point that if their song comes on a playlist, it is likely to be downvoted or removed.
This show was a let down as it was far from the usual quality of Sofi Tucker shows. It seemed as though they thought they could just make a "Greatest Hits"esque show. They barely played anything from the new BREAD album, which i would argue, was the whole point if the show. I probably won't go out of my way to see them again.
Wow, way too many people. First time I felt unsafe at Bill Graham. It was hard to see the stage. Sofi Tucker sounded good, and I’m sure people who could see had fun.
Great set with ton of incredible visuals, dancers and music. I was really disappointed in how short the concert was. Sofi Tukker only played for 1.5 hours. Their openers played longer than they did. It was truly a bummer.
I was able to see them with my daughters for their first concert experience last year, and we were so excited to go back and see them a second time this year. Amazing energy, music that makes you feel good, and so much fun to watch. The crowds are so fun, and their dancers are just awesome. I can't wait until they come back to Portland and see them again! Definitely a proud member of the Freak Fam!
They dooped us into thinking it was INSIDE the coliseum when it was outside and a randomly put together stage next to the stadium
SOFI TUKKER were great and put on an awesome show! However, I have no idea why there was another super loud show at BMO right next to The Tourch where the SOFI TUKKER show was at. When SOFI TUKKER played it was ok but in between songs or any other time the loudness of the other show was very noticeable... bad planning by whoever booked these two shows at the same time...
I knew I’d have a good time, but I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Even the opening acts were delivering. My friends and I even considered driving down from LA to San Diego the very next day to see her again. We didn’t end up doing that, but it was a serious consideration. I’ll be seeing her next time she comes back to town.
