About

SOFI TUKKER, AKA best friends Sophie Hawley-Weld & Tucker Halpern, are a dance driven force to be reckoned with. After meeting during their senior year at Brown University in 2014, Halpern convinced Hawley-Weld to take a leap of faith and move out to New York City so that the two could make music together. Shortly after in 2017, the duo’s debut single, “Drinkee,” was nominated for a Grammy and quickly followed by a second Grammy nomination for their debut album Treehouse. Now, SOFI TUKKER have earned platinum and gold record sales on five continents, No. 1 records on multiple radio formats and over a billion streams and counting. Their upcoming album, BREAD — which is an acronym for “Be really energetic and dance” — is their most innovative work yet, and is set to guide the duo into a new era of connection with fans all over the world.

  • Short set and parking nightmare

by Beans on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Parking logistics were a nightmare. Was expecting the headliner’s set to be 2 hours or more as is usual for a headliner but was only 1hr 15mins.

  • GREAT SHOW not so great logistics by the organizing company

by Ada on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

SHOW WAS AMAZING! Great vibes, great people, great music, however the artist did complain that another really loud event was happening next door and the sound and music leaked to the Torch.

  • Epic LA Dance Experience

by Jules on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

We all had such a fabulous night out at The Coliseum Torch in Los Angeles dancing the night away to Sofi Tukker. The purple lighting as we walked up the venue let us all know that were in for a memorable experience The event staff were helpful and friendly each and every encounter. Perfect night out

  • Fun! I Luv Bread

by ST my Best Friend on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed the “Best Friend” energy and was definitely purple hat, cheetah print dancing on the people with a side of Bread! I ❤️ 🥖.

  • Terrible Venue

by MadUsher on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Love love love Sofi Tukker but that venue (The Torch) did them dirty. You could hear the show going on at BMO. Avoid this venue at all costs.

  • Worst venue, shortest concert

by Sea on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

This is my 5th time seeing Sofi Tukker. This was unacceptable. Basically a parking lot where no one could see the stage, so no idea what went on up there but was ridiculously short. Maybe an hour. I guess people are trying to save money... having to go all the way to USC to stand outside in the rain in front of an actual venue, but concert was held outside in the street. Across from another concert, so you could hear both bands. Literally the world's worst concert ever. Done with Sofi Tukker. Never again.

  • So much energy, so much fun!

by cattooz on 11/5/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

What a night. These two are such professionals, the sound was amazing, the energy was pumping, and the light show was en pointe. The backup dancers added more fun to the show, the entire crowd was feeling it. My first time seeing Sofi Tukker, but definitely not my last!

  • I Love Sofi Tucker!

by Lady Lustica on 11/2/24WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen Sofi Tukker before, and they are always the best time! Perfect amount of good music, crowd involvement and all around energy. I was disappointed that the venue stopped serving alcohol early and you couldn’t take it into the dance area. Also the bathrooms were very gendered which in this day and age, I feel like they could have some gender neutral bathrooms. Overall I would go see Sofi Tukker ANYWHERE because I love them so much!!!!

  • Bangin show!

by Serackfamily on 11/2/24WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the show, they played some of their old and some of their new hits. Loved the light show. Loved that there was ample seating on risers for those of us who couldnt stand for 3 hours. I got in easily, everything was well set up. Only negative was that the band didnt really have an opening act, it was just DJs for 3 hours. I didnt expect that so it was just a long 3 hour wait until their show. The show itself had a great light show, loved the lasers, the jungle gym added interest. Would def go again!

  • Skilled performers, dance hall vibes, and positive energy

by Klara on 11/2/24WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Sofi and Tukker are incredible performers. They worked the crowd so, so well, even if you were in the back of the venue you could feel their presence in the room with you. They did a great job getting everyone in the room moving and dancing and having fun (NOT an easy task in the chilly Pacific northwest!), and so were they!! Not to mention how beautifully immaculate their costumes, style, and set design was. the lightshow was great. the live performance of the music was really really good, they're true professionals! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. especially if you love active concerts where people in GA are strongly discouraged from standing still and just watching or filming like a bystander.

  • Great show, good venue

by Chris on 11/2/24WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Friends and I had a blast at Sofi Tukker. I like the Wamu theatre. It is large enough to really feel the energy without sitting a mile away from the stage

  • It was great

by FK on 11/2/24WAMU Theater - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Meeting them in person at the meet and eat was great, and the two of them being so friendly. The music and show was terrific, with a lot of effects that kept it entertaining.

  • Great party!

    by Maria T on 11/2/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time! Would be nice to know in advance that first 2 hours were DJs playing sets and only then Sofi Tukker was on for 1.5 hours of a great party with all the hits. Would have come later to make it to the Sofi Tukker set alone, but a lot of people had a good time dancing to the DJs like as if in a night club. Sofi Tukker were great! Nice aesthetically pleasing visual background, dancers, high energy and great beats! Great selection of songs. Did not seem live singing (seemed lip sincing) but I understand that it has to do with the style of EDM music, nonetheless, was a great party! A lot of people filled the floor in front of the stage and danced all night. Would go again and would highly recommend if you like their songs!

  • Late Start Killed the Vibe

    by Nori13 on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

I love Sofi Tukker and I enjoy seeing them live, but I was kind of disappointed in this particular performance. 1. They didn’t come on till after 10pm. It was a Tuesday night and doors opened at 7pm and the show was supposed to start at 8pm. I would have appreciated if they published a schedule online beforehand so we could have taken our time getting ready after work and had a longer dinner. It just felt inconsiderate. 2. The openers weren’t entertaining enough to keep people excited and people were literally sleeping in their seats. They need openers with more presence if they’re going to play the big arenas. 3. Everyone around us were complaining about how late the show was. By the time Sofi Tukker came on people were just groggy and low energy. Killed the vibe and high that is usually there for their concerts. 4. Now I usually love their backup dancers and they’re fun in smaller venues, but that just didn’t come across in a larger venue. They just look like random people dancing on stage and lack that tightness of formation that you see in other backup dancers. Their outfits were bad and blah. I think if Sofi Tukker gets more popular they need to consider upgrading their choreography and dancers. 5. I appreciate the age span of their fans. There were kids to seniors and I think that speaks to how universal their music is. But I think they need to consider that when planning the timing of their shows. The little girl in front of us was struggling to stay awake and it was on a school night and the mom was stressing out. It was really sad because she was so excited when they first arrived and she could barely stay awake during the show. 6. They seemed to be reusing their set from the last tour which is odd. I’d expect a different theme. 7. Their music is wonderful as ever. 8. Sofi’s outfit was beautiful.

  • Sofi Tukker Portland Oct 29th

by ZK on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

The actual concert was Amazing! The 2 hour wait was awful and not disclosed at time of ticket purchase. Advertised as 8pm start but actually started at 10pm.

  • Great show, though the support band sucked

by Groovetastic on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Sofi Tukker put on a fabulous show. They made it fun and filled the place with energy. But they need a better support act. They were repetitive and played for WAY too long. The support played for almost two hours. Sofi Tukker was only on stage for about an hour and fifteen minutes. More Sofi Tukker, much less support!

  • If you like fever dreams with a great beat, this is for you.

    by BeepBoop42 on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

All of the pre-show DJ’s left so much to be desired. Their sets, their songs were way too long, and their lack of danceable beats starkly present and obvious. 1/10. The voice on the last DJ set though was stunning and she has talent. I hope she makes a name for herself. Now, Sofi Tucker- this was my first concert of theirs. They played some of their hits, and choreography combined with audience participation enhanced the time we enjoyed throughout the concert. If you like fever dreams with a great beat, this is the band for you. Sofi Tucker have the colors, the sounds, the attitude, the costumes, and the moves for such a task.

  • Hot Show - Plz Start Tuesday nights earlier!

    by D. Jax’n on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Show was amazing but ran pretty late for a Tuesday night show. Working Steph drove two hours from out of town to see this amazing experience, but stood around till 1030 for the headliners to go on.

  • Nonstop energy and entertainment

by Nergal on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

It was a really awesome show. Loved the whole thing. Songs Music lights stage performance dancers crowd SOFI TUKKER. All worth every minute of it. I wanna go again

  • Spectacular

by RickaMarie on 11/1/24Moda Center - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Sofi Tukker has been a favorite of mine for about 6 years now. Never saw them live so it was an incredible treat and definitely a mark off the ol bucket list 💖
