So You Think You Can Dance Live! on Tour
As the name implies, the ‘So You Think You Can Dance' Live! tour is an extension of the long-running Fox TV series. Each year, top contestants from the show's most recent season go on the road and perform in front of live audiences. At these gigs, ‘SYTYCD' fans can expect the usual mix of inventive, high-quality choreography and solo and group spotlights. The format of the tour allows dancers to stretch out physically and emotionally, and to show off their unique personalities, which makes the night a resonant one. For the 2018 tour, the Top 10 finalists from Season 15 — including winner Hannahlei Cabanilla, a contemporary dance enthusiast from Orange County, California, and season runner-up Jensen Arnold — are hitting the road to show off their best moves, under the choreographic guidance of the Emmy-winning Mandy Moore.

Just as ‘American Idol' and ‘The Voice' have helped aspiring musicians launch a career, the judged competition ‘So You Think You Can Dance' has done the same for dancers. Contestants from the show, which premiered in 2005, have gone on to become professional actors and actresses, choreographers, and backup dancers for pop stars. ‘SYTYCD' itself has also become known for its innovative dance routines to popular music, and is a perennial Primetime Emmy winner, particularly in the Outstanding Choreography category.
The show's sterling track record is a testament to the stunning pool of talent on display during each season. ‘SYTYCD' doubles as a spotlight showcase for promising dancers specializing in various styles (hip-hop, jazz, contemporary), who then show off their best moves via group, pair, and individual dance performances. Each week, judges whittle down the field of competitors, before crowning one person the winner. After the season ends, the ‘So You Think You Can Dance' Live! tour gives top contestants a chance to strut their stuff in real life, up close and personal in front of the show's many, many fans.
The show was awesome and I would go again if given the chance. The dancers were amazing and the show was very well orchestrated. I will recommend this this show to all of my friends and we left the show very happy.
Dancing was good, too much talking and selling, especially from Nigel. Was not really interested in hearing from or seeing the judges. Also, even with 2nd row seats, visibility was terrible.
Show was great! This is my 3rd time going to the tour and every year it just gets better and better!

I loved the show! They did dances I was not expecting to see but I pleasantly surprised. Some of the introductions seemed a little too rehearsed and I was hoping to see a little more of their personalities during those bits but overall awesome!!!
For anyone who loves the TV program So You Think You Can Dance, seeing the performers live is amazing. They are impressive on the show, but you don't see how hard they work during that time. The viewer is always being dazzled with something else. However, the live show went for three hours with only one 20 minute break and the dancers ran the whole thing, including the hosting. I have to give them credit for the incredible effort they put into making it an enjoyable show and wowing the audience with their talent. On the other hand, I was disappointed that their wasn't actually an MC introducing each performer for their solo or dance. Instead the large screens were used with taped recordings of Kat Deeley or Nigel Lithgoe. It's not like I was expecting one of them to be their, but somebody could have at least taken that weight off the dancers' shoulders. Some were obviously more comortable using the mic than others. Ok, so all in all it was a really good show. The dancers were exceptional, the lighting, amazing and their banter was entertaining. I would recommend seeing this show. However, make sure you get a seat where you can actually see the large screens.
Excellent show! Hoping to go to 2010 Tour. So glad that Kayla and Phillip were able to go on the tour.
Such a great show. So happy Phillip and Caitlin were there as special guests! Loved seeing Jai ho in person and Phillip is so talented and unique in his movement - his solo alone was worth it! All the dancers were great! This time they completely run the show so its nice to really get to know them more as they host and dance.
This show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I recommend ANYONE go and see it!! I could barely stay in my seat and I lost my voice from screaming at the top of my lungs!! All of the dancers are INCREDIBLY talented and deserve to be on that stage!!! If I could afford to follow this tour across the US I would...this show would never become boring!!
INCREDIBLE! I haven't been to any of the tours yet because by the time I go to buy tickets all the good seats sell out but this year I was able to get good seats finally and now that I've been I'm addicted and wanna go tonight to Boston too!! The show was AMAZING. They did all the favorite dances of the season and then some. Meeting them afterwards was totally insane. They were so genuinely nice and took the time to sign autographs and take pictures, even though they had their annoying publicists behind them telling them to hurry up and not take pictures (so lame). It was an awesome show and night all together and I'm so glad I went... It was lengthy too but in a good way...if it had been shorter I probably would have been disappointed but I thought it was just perfect!! If you love the show and love dancing it's a must see!! Cant wait for 2010 tour!
The kids are realy talented,,, the show is great, but very, very loud, unhealthy loud.
Even though are seats were far away, it was still very entertaining. The dancers were amazing. It was a great show. The dancers stayed very energetic throughout the 2 hour show!

The concert was amazing but meeting the dancers after the show was even better. It was totally worth the hour long wait in the cold. The dancers met everyone who waited, signed autographs and took photos. Absolutely unforgettable.

This show was awesome! It is a must see if you are a fan of the show. The energy of all of the dancers was exceptional. I will definitely be going again next year.
I thought the show was amazing, but its only downfall was there was too much talking between each dance! Other than that the dances were incredible!!
The show was great - we had awesome seats and the dancing was outstanding!
I took my ten-year-old daughter to this event because she loves to watch the show. She and I both had a blast seeing the dance numbers we recognized and the young men and women we rooted for during the competition. We really appreciated the effort they gave to put on a great show. The jokes were funny, the clips were cute and the format being in keeping with the show's style made it easy to follow and enjoy. It was really a fun and exciting experience! While the programs and souvenirs were more expensive than I anticipated (and I have taken her to other shows where we regularly get programs), my daughter has not stopped talking about getting to stay up late and see the show since that night. That she has thanked me about fifty times for taking her is an added bonus. Overall, well worth the price!
