    Snap Judgement was the best!!

by ShowSnap on 10/10/16Moore Theatre - Seattle

This was one of the best nights of entertainment I have ever had! Storytelling at it's very best. Stories filled with every possible emotion. I was riveted from beginning to end. I never buy t-shirts from shows, but this time I did because I just had to have a momento. Even if you have never heard an episode of the podcast, you will greatly enjoy this show!

    Snap Judgment Live was INCREDIBLE!

by RagTagMag on 9/16/16Paramount Theatre - Oakland

Maybe the best show I've seen of any type -- an emotional rollercoaster. I wept, I howled with laughter, and felt everything in between. They earned that standing ovation. If you ever have a chance -- go see this show!

Snap Judgment = Must See Show

    by JeniW on 3/1/16Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Snap Judgment is one of the most unique and engaging shows that I have ever seen. The artists were amazing storytellers with a mixture of the funny and the serious. Time flew by so quickly thanks to the stories, the storytelling ability of the authors and the musical accompaniment. If you love to hear about new experiences and enjoy theatricality, this is the show and podcast for you.

    Off the Chart!!!

    by deCory on 3/1/16Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

WOW'ed to the MAX!!! I've been a loyal SJ listener for 5 years now so when I heard SJ was coming to Oakland I drove from Sacramento to Oakland. What an awesome event! Started at 8 pm, ended past 11pm - no skimping with these professionals. Though I know SJ doesn't need the visual - let me tell you it was a visual gift. All the story tellers were superb and Glynn Washington is a host like no other!!! James Judd, better known as "The Closer" really delivered! He gave my abs a real work-out from all the laughter his story provided. We, the audience, were grateful since a few stories left us in tears. Oh, and the band - crazy perfect with every story as well as on its own. The mood was set for all my senses to come alive! I left there feeling that as long as there are storytellers like the ones SJ envelopes, there is hope in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you and please, come back soon.

Awesome show at an incredible theatre

    by TG505 on 3/1/16Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

SNAP JUDGEMENT did not disappoint! It was highly entertaining. While most of the stories were very real and heavy, it was captivating and very well executed. I would easily go again. And the Paramount is a beautiful venue to see any show! First time there and I loved it!

    Dissapointing

    by tswitek on 3/1/16Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

This was a very disappointing show for me and the 3 other people I brought with me. I absolutely love the recorded shows, mainly for the extraordinary stories the Snap Judgment crew is able to curate, and also for the way they're told. The live show was a collection of individuals mostly from different minority groups explaining their personal cultural stories. There were some highlights (Josh Healy, Jamie DeWolf, Don Reed), and I identified with the issues of the non highlights, but these were stories I'd expect to hear from friends over coffee, and not in front of an audience that paid $60/ticket. Especially when comparing to all the amazing stories I've heard on the recorded show. I was expecting so so so so much more. A few of the stories were so bad they reminded me of thanksgiving dinners where a family member went on and on dramatically trying to get a point across that was clear with the first sentence.... Come on guys!!!! What happened?

Glenn Washington/Snap Judgement is a must see..

by Lynne3 on 7/21/14Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts - Thousand Oaks

I found Glenn to be spellbinding, his stories were intriguing and humorous. Having the venue in the smaller theater made it for a more enjoyable and intimate setting... i found myself wanting more.... Also Alex on sound added a depth as he integrated subtle musical tones throughout the storytelling. Thank you Glenn and KCLU for such an enjoyable evening
