Slipknot in Concert

Theatrical nu-metal act Slipknot approaches live concerts in a different fashion than most touring acts. Rather than being acknowledged by name, each member of the nine-piece act is referred to by a number and each dons an industrial jumpsuit and his own unique mask. The concept serves dual purposes: to entertain fans and keep the musicians focused on performing.

Since their 1995 debut, the Iowa-based heavy metal outfit has had an easy time selling albums and tickets, with their 1999 eponymous debut making it onto The Billboard 200 and earning double-platinum status. Three full-length releases have followed, with a 2014 collection rumored to be in the works.

Slipknot, a regular on the Ozzfest tour circuit along with their own headlining runs, earned a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2006 for the single "Before I Forget" from 2004's "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)." The band worked with iconic producer Rick Rubin on the collection, which marks the group's only profanity-free effort.

Slipknot on Tour

Following the enormous success of 2019's inaugural Knotfest Roadshow tour, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning hard rock band, Slipknot announced they will headline the Knotfest Roadshow 2020. Joining them to showcase the best the world of heavy music has to offer are special guests A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.

    Excellent

by P. L. on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

First time seeing Slipknot and it was so fun. They have a great stage presence. They engaged the audience and the energy was high through the whole show. The opening acts were great also. I enjoyed every minute

    Great Concert

by Blair on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

My 1st time seeing them was awesome. Corey really interacts with the crowd. I wished theyd played more new stuff, only 1 song from new album. Didn't play some popular songs of recent albums which sucked but. Overall great experience.

    Beyond exhilarating

by Brandi Drew on 10/7/22Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

First ever SlipKnot concert ever. I will be going every year now. I mean, it’s SlipKnot. They speak for themselves. It was completely packed, a small mosh pit I was thankfully by. Everyone was just having a good time. They did need to add a separate “merch” line cause 2 hours was crazy. But it was an amazing experience.

    My first show was amazing

by S. M. on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

Slipknot was amazing. My first time seeing them live. Before I met my boyfriend Slipknot was the last 5 minutes of my workout. He got me to listen to them more. He goes to every Salt Lake, & Phoenix along with a few more. He had Clown’s cell number & pictures with him from meet & greets. But sadly he lost them when his phone broke. He always told me how good Slipknot was. And he was not lying. Thank you! I had the best time!

Best show I have been to in 20 years

by bhislop on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

The show was great glad I spent the extra to be in the pit. I wish they would have played longer 10:20 a little early to stop but still a solid 90 minute set. Devil and I should never be skipped!

    Fantastic Show & Performance!

by Hey Ape on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

Concerts and live music there is nothing like it ! It’s like spending time with a big Family ….I’ve seen Slipknot twice it is truly not like any experience you’ll have going to a concert …..Corey Taylor is not amazing performer , singer , songwriter - the engagement with fans is truly magical! The band certainly has given many hope in a world where many rely on music to save sanity and connect! Overall the experience was a 10+ ! 🖤

    Good show, Bad mix

by Mikeb on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

The overall show was good, but the mix was so heavy on the percussion that you could not hear the guitars at all. Even the vocals were nearly drowned out by the drummer and bass. Most of these metal shows do this, but it is not necessary! The sound engineers need to go to a Metallica or Incubus show, and learn how to mix right.

    Absolute riot!

by Tonkaman on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

We arrived before the opening bands to ensure a good seat on the grass. The opening bands were both fun to watch and good music. Nothing compares to Slipknot presence on stage. The set was massive! Lots of action and moving parts keeps the whole thing alive and interactive. Slipknot is one of my all time favorite bands and they absolutely put in one of the best concerts in the business!

It was the best show. Slipknot is the best metal band there is. All members of the band are fantastic. I took my daughter to see them for her first time and it was a memorable experience for her.

    Awesome show!

by Dougy on 10/7/22USANA Amphitheatre - West Valley City

I got off work, I was tired and didn’t necessarily feel like fighting traffic and going to this concert. But I’m glad I did! Best show I’ve ever been to. Would definitely go again!

    Great show, terrible parking management

by Milky on 10/6/22Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

No complaints about the show. But this is the first time I've encountered such a mess with trying to get into the venue to park. For some reason, traffic directed away from main entrance to down the street. Which took FOREVER. And this was about an hour after the show started.
