Slightly Stoopid was discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell in 1995. Co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald were still in high school in San Diego when they inked a deal with Nowell’s indie label Skunk Records. Fusing rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk, Slightly Stoopid forged their sonic legacy on the road, selling out venues across the world and bringing their SoCal vibes to festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits and more. Albums like Everything You Need (2003), Closer to the Sun (2005) and Chronchitis (2007) feature summertime classics “2am” and “Closer to the Sun.”

On the tickets I purchased, Sublime was listed as the first band, giving the impression that they would be headlining. I was very surprised when the show started and Sublime played before Slightly Stoopid. I wish I had known before hand that Sublime wasn’t the big band of the night.
I prefer to see this band at Leader Bank Pavilion as it's a better venue and more intimate.. however I got 3rd row tickets for this venue last minute and the show did not disappoint. Awesome show. Wish the set times were longer and/or a bit later. Strange for the first band to start at 5.
Soundsystem seemed a bit inferior and mixed poorly. But love this band.
Ordered chicken tenders and fries mid way through show and when i received food it was cold with mushy fries. Payed alot of money for them and was extremely dissapointed and this isnt the only time ive had bad experience with food here. One time ordered tacos and they were a complete mess and meat was cold as if refrigerated. When i brought it back i was told it was too bad from a manager at that because i ate one of the tacos and she wasnt very nice to me about it.
Atmosphere, the movement, Rome n slightly Stoopid play hits that moved the body and crowd into frenzy. Received the song setlist @ end of performance. Recommend seeing
Loved this show! I hope they come back to Boston again!!
It was a night of fun. Talented bands. Very enjoyable to watch.
Great show all around! Every band put on a great performance and had some trippy light show to accompany. Slightly Stoopid absolutely killed it!!
Great views, good vibes and fun times! One of my favorite places to see live music
As I said…Great music, horrible sound quality As if they actually publish negative critiques… On to the next one…
Venue was awesome!!! Wish there would have been more information on parking and more signage once you got closer to the venue. Lots didn’t show up on Google maps that great so navigating was a little more difficult. Luckily we found a garage close to venue free of charge!!
Great concert! Laid back feel, good vibes. Definitely worth the drive and the money spent on tickets.
The boys put on an excellent show, high energy and positivity! Love when they throw down in Baltimore and bring the unity! One love!
This was the second time I saw Sublime, and each time the sound was unlistenably bad. I walked out of the last concert, and this one was only a little better. The bass and bass drum was muddy and booming so badly that I had to strain to hear the vocals and guitar, and really couldn’t hear the bass notes, either. The bands before and after had no troubles. Disappointing not to be able to hear their great songs!
For the pricing of tikcets nowadays, I expected a better show and Im sure many of the others sitting around me in the very costly seated area did too. Seating is just too expensive for how far you are from stage...cluttered by employees checking tickets for people to get back in, etc Feels like your sitting next to a bathroom door at a crowded cafe. The only area that looks like it would feel like a concert is the area up front where people stand up by the stage..back in the day I used to get into that area for $10-$15 and Im not that old. The show itself was good because I like everyone performing but I feel like it could have been better or longer when Slightly Stoopid performed. I did like the random Beastie Boys surprise at the end. Overall seats are not cheap...I feel if they were then half the seats around me wouldnt be empty. There were alot of empty seats closer that I wanted to jump into. The show just feels too far..like you are watching the entire thing from the screen up front which amounts to you watching it on tv. The lighting was good but I did feel all the performers could have performed more tracks. Slightly Stoopid as well did not do any of the songs I was looking forward.
good times with great vibes and plenty of joints to go around.
I wish they had played more songs I liked and the venue tries so hard to be chique and modern (I don’t think it serves 90s bands well) but that’s really no one’s fault but mine 😂. I had a good night otherwise. Good music, surrounded by good friends. It was really relaxing. I hope they come back to the dmv again soon.
No hesitation here to throw us into the light of groove & funk. Non stop dance party with nothing but good vibes, amazing music, beautiful visuals, mind bending light/video show. Absolutely incredible. Slightly Stoopid stays consistent with their energy every year: LOVE & LIGHT!
Started to early for a weeknight. Lots of smoking of both kinds. I thought the venue was a smoke free environment and nothing was enforced. Sod replacement on the lawn is nice, just don't water it the day of a concert. Wet ass prevailed!
