SIX is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical that tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII — reimagining the Tudor queens as powerful pop divas. Led by an all-female cast, SIX presents the queens as pop stars, with each recounting their story while channeling modern pop acts as they make the case for who was dealt the worst hand. SIX was written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss when the two were studying at Cambridge University. By the summer of 2017, SIX was being staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. After a sold-out run on London’s West End, SIX premiered on Broadway in October 2021 (with Moss becoming the youngest female director working on a Broadway musical). The herstory musical was an immediate hit, with The New York Times noting how the pop production “totally rules,” and The Washington Post hailing SIX as “exactly the kind of energizing, inspirational illumination this town aches for.”
SIX is performed at the Lena Horne Theatre at 256 West 47th Street in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan, New York, between Broadway and 8th Avenue. Individual and group tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster and the Lena Horne Theatre box office.
Be sure to add SIX to your favorites on Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app to get important alerts about tickets. (Download the Ticketmaster app for iPhone or Android.)
Group bookings to see SIX require a minimum purchase of 10 tickets.
The recommended age for children to see SIX is 10 and up. Children five and under are not permitted into the Lena Horne Theatre. All patrons — regardless of age — must have a ticket.
At one hour and 20 minutes and no intermission, SIX has the shortest running time of any musical currently on Broadway.
Fans of SIX call themselves the “Queendom” and often appear at SIX performances cosplaying as their favorite queen.
The current cast of SIX may include Hailee Kaleem Wright as Catherine of Aragon, Leandra Ellis-Gaston as Anne Boleyn, Bella Coppola as Jane Seymour, Nasia Thomas as Anna of Cleves, Zoe Jensen as Katherine Howard and Taylor Iman Jones as Catherine Parr.
Alternate cast members may include Marilyn Caserta, Ayla Ciccone-Burton, Holli' Conway, Kristina Leopold and Aubrey Matalon.

I took my 11 year old granddaughter Mylani to this musical and I never seen her so excited and having such a good time. She gave the musical a 10 and even asked me to give a donation for a signed poster..
Super fun! Great for a light night out… It’s a very creative and fun way to tell a story that has been told a million times Very Recomended
This was a lovely theatre and the cast were excellent as were the ladies in waiting. If I didn’t live so far away I would come back.
SIX has been the best show I have had the pleasure to enjoy. The Queens were brilliant, gorgeous, extremely creative. The show was absolutely entertaining. In my sincere opinion, I didn't like the serious parts as much as the funny ones, and I am glad there were ways to break the seriousness of some moments. The show was brilliant, nevertheless. My favourite Queens were Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves, but they were all equally gorgeous, talented and amazing. Really the best I have seen, so far!
A great show to see for my very first Broadway show! I couldn't be more excited by the performance of the SIX cast. They were spot on with their singing and didn't miss a beat of the great band behind them. I was so pleased to see this Fantastic show!
If we had done a bit more research we wouldn’t have picked this show. It was good the voices were wonderful but the concept and the way it was told was not for us. We both had difficulties hearing the words and as it was mostly all sung that was an issue.
Great take on a piece of history that we thought we knew!
The most iconic show to see on Broadway at the moment. I was visiting all the way from Spain and I could it went beyond what I was expected. Can’t stop listening to the soundtrack now. I just hope I can see it again one day, Congratulations to everybody that made this show possible.
I guess I was expecting something more spectacular, given that this show received a Tony Award. It was just OK. It was about 6ladies singing their hearts out, describing who they all are in King Henry’s life. I thought it was a re-enactment of King Henry’s life with his six 6wives. I thought wrong! I’d rather watch Chicago or Moulin Rouge.
The whole purpose of our trip to New York was to see Six! We were fans of the Tudor and somewhat history buffs so we were familiar with the story. When we first heard of the show, it peaked our interest. Then we kept hearing the song on social media so why not go see the show ! I don’t know what I was expecting, but whatever it was it exceeded my expectations! Each song was more catchy than the other, the costume sparkled, the mise-en-scene was simple yet brilliant, the live band were ON IT! And the six queens ? They were having a blast, which translated into the audience ! I would definitely see this show again and recommend it to anyone !
It felt like going to a girl band live and not a musical as we know it. It was upbeat and good but only understood it as we know basic British history.
Loved this show! The girls were amazing, the music was great and the costumes were stunning! Loved that we were in the 2nd row for this but there wasn't a bad seat honestly! And the way that they kept the audience engaged was the best! Would definitely recommend for anyone!
Espectacular and the teathre perfect for the show. I will repeat it
The show was amazing. And the performers were great and there vocals were amazing
The show is energetic and keeps moving. With no intermission ladies, the restroom experience before the show is equal to an usual intermission experience. The team is well prepared to move people along, but the line can take 10-15 minutes. The stalls are narrow as are the seats. They pack people in tightly. I went to another show someplace else the next and did not need to rub shoulders with my neighbor like I did at this show. Fun and energetic, but slightly claustrophobic.
Simply put… it’s like the Spice Girls doing a Brit Hamilton ‼️ very cool show…
It was awesome..full of energy.I laughed and cried.
Amazing, talented cast. Couldn't decide which wife we liked best! Completely entertaining. Both my husband and I enjoyed it.
This is really great and entertaining show with amazing talent on the vocal and instrumental side. Not to miss!
