SIX is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical that tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII — reimagining the Tudor queens as powerful pop divas. Led by an all-female cast, SIX presents the queens as pop stars, with each recounting their story while channeling modern pop acts as they make the case for who was dealt the worst hand. SIX was written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss when the two were studying at Cambridge University. By the summer of 2017, SIX was being staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. After a sold-out run on London’s West End, SIX premiered on Broadway in October 2021 (with Moss becoming the youngest female director working on a Broadway musical). The herstory musical was an immediate hit, with The New York Times noting how the pop production “totally rules,” and The Washington Post hailing SIX as “exactly the kind of energizing, inspirational illumination this town aches for.”
SIX is performed at the Lena Horne Theatre at 256 West 47th Street in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan, New York, between Broadway and 8th Avenue. Individual and group tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster and the Lena Horne Theatre box office.
Be sure to add SIX to your favorites on Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app to get important alerts about tickets. (Download the Ticketmaster app for iPhone or Android.)
Group bookings to see SIX require a minimum purchase of 10 tickets.
The recommended age for children to see SIX is 10 and up. Children five and under are not permitted into the Lena Horne Theatre. All patrons — regardless of age — must have a ticket.
At one hour and 20 minutes and no intermission, SIX has the shortest running time of any musical currently on Broadway.
Fans of SIX call themselves the “Queendom” and often appear at SIX performances cosplaying as their favorite queen.
The current cast of SIX may include Hailee Kaleem Wright as Catherine of Aragon, Leandra Ellis-Gaston as Anne Boleyn, Bella Coppola as Jane Seymour, Nasia Thomas as Anna of Cleves, Zoe Jensen as Katherine Howard and Taylor Iman Jones as Catherine Parr.
Alternate cast members may include Marilyn Caserta, Ayla Ciccone-Burton, Holli' Conway, Kristina Leopold and Aubrey Matalon.
Great show! Outstanding talent. Would definitely see again!
Incredible show!!! More than what I expected! The ladies were fantastic!! My husband gave me a trip to NYC with tickers to SIX for my birthday. We has a wonderful time! (Aside from the freezing cold weather) But it was all worth it. We'll be coming back when the weather warms up!!!
SO MUCH FUN. The show is much shorter than others on Broadway, but I still feel you get your moneys worth. I’d see it again if I didn’t live in another country! Every queen was phenomenal.
Such a phenomenal show! Music and performances were spot on and absolutely amazing!
literally loved this show! it was amazing we had a blast
Very entertaining! Music was great ! 80 min run time for show no intermission ! Great play to see on a week night 7 pm show put by 8:30 !
This show was wonderful! Six extremely talented women entertained us non stop!!! Fantastic show! ( AND I learned some history too!) 😂😊
Literally the most fun I’ve had in a Broadway show
family event for my daughter's birthday - and it was fantastic! far exceeding my expectations. and what a great message for my girls
SIX is lively, fast-paced, and fun! Loved the music and the one-liners. What amazing voices these ladies all have! Judie’s to the band, as well!
Had a grand ole time, cannot recommend enough. Talent was out of this world.
I saw SIX for the second time on Broadway and can't wait to see it again and again. It is humorous, witty, poignant, and FUN! The music is fabulous and memorable. The SIX queens are incredibly energetic and talented, and have the audience cheering throughout the show and on their feet by the end. You leave the theater on a SIX high! I really didn't want the show to end because I was having such a good time. I already have tickets to see it twice when it comes to my hometown this summer!
Loved “Six! I’d describe it as a high energy rock opera. It was so original and a great way to learn about King Henry VIII’s six wives. The Queens sang beautifully and their songs were so entertaining. Well cast, well acted and great premise for a show.
This is just a themed concert. Cleverly done (loved the imitation/inspiration of popular singers) but just a short concert. I think I might have given a higher rating if it was a full length production, but the show is only 80 mins total at the price of full length Broadway shows.
This show was excellent! The music was great, the singing was unbelievable! I would highly Recommend this show!!!
Great music and dancing with catchy music. Need to know a little about the history of the wives before watching.
I have to read up on the history of King Henry V!!! and his Six wives. he only had one favorite and that was Jane who dies after giving birth to a son who ruled at the age of 9 and died at 12...How's that????
The actors did put everything into it but the premise of the show was weak. It belonged in a touring company or regional theaters and not on Broadway. Maybe a Vegas show? Additionally, it was barely 90 minutes long. Not a lot of bang for the buck.
Loves the show - songs and performers are incredible - but it’s not long enough! Its a very Expensive show for just under an hour and a half!!
No matter where you sit in the theater you will enjoy the show.
