SIX is the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical that tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII — reimagining the Tudor queens as powerful pop divas. Led by an all-female cast, SIX presents the queens as pop stars, with each recounting their story while channeling modern pop acts as they make the case for who was dealt the worst hand. SIX was written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss when the two were studying at Cambridge University. By the summer of 2017, SIX was being staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. After a sold-out run on London’s West End, SIX premiered on Broadway in October 2021 (with Moss becoming the youngest female director working on a Broadway musical). The herstory musical was an immediate hit, with The New York Times noting how the pop production “totally rules,” and The Washington Post hailing SIX as “exactly the kind of energizing, inspirational illumination this town aches for.”
SIX is performed at the Lena Horne Theatre at 256 West 47th Street in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan, New York, between Broadway and 8th Avenue. Individual and group tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster and the Lena Horne Theatre box office.
Be sure to add SIX to your favorites on Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app to get important alerts about tickets. (Download the Ticketmaster app for iPhone or Android.)
Group bookings to see SIX require a minimum purchase of 10 tickets.
The recommended age for children to see SIX is 10 and up. Children five and under are not permitted into the Lena Horne Theatre. All patrons — regardless of age — must have a ticket.
At one hour and 20 minutes and no intermission, SIX has the shortest running time of any musical currently on Broadway.
Fans of SIX call themselves the “Queendom” and often appear at SIX performances cosplaying as their favorite queen.
The current cast of SIX may include Hailee Kaleem Wright as Catherine of Aragon, Leandra Ellis-Gaston as Anne Boleyn, Bella Coppola as Jane Seymour, Nasia Thomas as Anna of Cleves, Zoe Jensen as Katherine Howard and Taylor Iman Jones as Catherine Parr.
Alternate cast members may include Marilyn Caserta, Ayla Ciccone-Burton, Holli' Conway, Kristina Leopold and Aubrey Matalon.

It was magical. Going in I had a clear idea on what my seat would be like but never did I think that I would have the amazing experience I did. Chills throughout the whole show.
SIX is a modern, pop/rock retelling of the marriage of Henry VIIII. If you're expecting a play, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting a concert of sorts, then that's what you'll get! My girls (agess 11 and 13) were already familiar with the songs.
Good show. The cast have great voices and the harmonies are fire. Only complaint is I wish it was longer.
The show although short was amazing! Such a super talented high energy group of women! We enjoyed every minute of it! Loved the costumes. It does help to have a little bit of backstory on each wife. It helps so you don’t miss out on any of the little comments. Encore was the best we’ve seen in a long time! Definitely worth seeing!
Six is all about King Henry and his SIX wives. History explained by song. The musical is wonderful. The actress’s are awesome, talented, and charming. Mixing history, music, a little comical at times. But BRILLIANT
I wouldn't consider this a Broadway play. It was more like watching American Idol, but with sexual jokes.
A short show, but fun. I enjoyed the feminist take on the story about the wives of Henry VIII.
I saw original actors in Six and loved them. I brought my husband this time who wanted to see show on Broadway…these performances were terrific too! Enthusiastic audience and wonderful experience again!
Saw in November 2021 with most of original cast; the current cast continues the tradition of diva-hood and soaring vocals. Funny, touching, and somewhat educational, I consider it a top pick for prime entertainment.
It was a fun show especially if you don’t want the entire night consumed. There’s no intermission, and it’s only 1.5 hours long, so it perfect if you still want to do Times Square afterward.
very well done each character was perfectly cast voices were perfect really had a good time
Perfect cast. The music and songs were awesome. The choregraphy the lightning everything was perfect. The book is very well written clever and the cast was on fire. So happy to have experience this show.
It was a high energy experience not to be missed. The show was only 80 minutes so it was not very long and had no intermissions. The singing was awesome but sometimes it was hard to make out the words because they sang very fast. The story was easier to follow if you have some knowledge of King Henry Vlll life. Overall, the performance left you cheering.
Vibrant and exciting!! Was even better than I originally anticipated — from the costumes to the singing and dancing to the jokes and history interwoven… simply fabulous!
Great energy great show great cast great voices!!!
Best show!!! We laughed - we cried. What a talented bunch of ladies. Definitely going to see it again!!
Disappointed with the show. Singing and dancing was nice. But boring.
I went with a group of friends and it was an absolutely amazing show! I've already recommended it to everyone around me, and hope to see it again.
It was recommended by our friends and it was really great 😊 We are so glad that we saw this in nyc and we would definitely love to watch it again!! This show hasn’t been in our town yet, however if it comes, we will be going!
