Entertaining until the intermission, 2nd half ~ ok
My son love the show it was awesome. Characters costumes were realistic in comparison to the show
Kids love it, adults will want to leave immediately.
This was an awesome production. My 4 1/2 year old daughter is a huge fan of the show and books and absolutely loved the show!!! It was clever and fun and awesome. The only issue was that there were A LOT of very young kids in the audience. And they were bored to death. Just because the show is a Jim Henson show, it is not appropriate for children under 4 (or really even 5). These young get kids were very restless and very noisy. I understand that it is a kids' show, but it's not Disney on Ice or Sesame Street Live. It has a lot of dialogue and some more mature concepts. I think parents should be aware that it is a pretty long show so if your child is not old enough yet to have an attention span, you might want to skip.
Our grandkids (twins age 4 1/2) enjoyed the show...up to a point. This matinee was jammed with very young kids with short attention spans. So when a show starts 15-minutes late (ie, thirty minutes after arrival in seats) and then runs longer than scripted, you start to lose kids. Our kids, along with many others had to leave at intermission. Remember...30 minutes on TV does not translate well to 90 minutes on stage for kids that age.
My granddaughter loved the show. We sang danced and just had a ball
The show was great. As a teacher and a parent, I found it very educational. I would recommend this for children second grade and below. The older children will probably find it boring. I wish the tickets were cheaper so schools would be able to attend.
Sure, the kids will always love seeing their TV characters on stage. But I really thought that that this was very over priced. $50 a ticket (all in) was too much for this weekly produced show. Should have been half that. Sound at the theater was poor too. Of course you expect a lot of kids talking and yelling, but at times we could barely her the performers
I went with another mom and our children ages 1,2 ,& 4 . All the kids enjoyed it as well as us moms.colors and songs kept the kids engaged. Just wish they did a meet and greet afterwords for pics because the tickets are expensive .if they did a meet and greet it would of been awesome. To complete the experience! The theater staff seemed to rush you out as soon as it was over , I had to change a diaper and we wanted to take a few pics in the theater because it was our whole groups first time there but we were being stared down by staff so we just had to leave . that's the only thing I would say was negative about the experience but the show was realy great !!! My husband and i are youth pastors at our church and we enjoyed it so much that are planing another trip for the wild krats show in February with about 15-20 people for our children outing;)
My 4 year old loved the show as well as myself. Sid is a big deal in our house, so we couldn't miss the show.
Great! My son absolutely loved it! it was very entertaining and enjoyable for me as well.
My 4 year old loved the show!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sid toys at the end of the show were so expensive, I already had to pay $90 for 3 tix.
This is the first event that I have taken my 41/2 year old granddaughter to. It was the perfect choice! Being at the Florida Theatre was perfect. Size matters! Loved the performance
I honestly enjoyed myself as a parent. My 1 and a half year old loved every minute of it.
Subject matter was the 5 senses. My 7 year old thought it was babyish, my 3 year old didn't have any interest and my 5 year old could take it or leave it. Honestly, just not a good storyline. Annoying voices. The children weren't entertained and honestly, I don't blame them. I didn't enjoy it at all.
Audio was terrible. My 5 year old enjoyed it but I think it is geared for younger children.
My son loves Sid so that is why we went to this show but we have seen better shows. The voices were pre recorded and it should be done live. Overall the show was average and would only recommend going if your kid loves Sid.
Topic was great, 5 senses. Cast did great job entertaining sound system needs tweeking. Too loud & words were unclear.
I expected more from a Henson production. The sound quality was terrible, the Teacher Susie actress largely unintelligible and the production values poor. The kids seem to enjoy it at the beginning but soon became bored. The whole affair looked shoddy.
