About
Australian hard-rock trio Sick Puppies made their mark in the music world in the late ‘90s and early 2000’s with angst-ridden gems like “Nothing Really Matters” and a hard-hitting, far darker version of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.” With such emo fare, it’s odd that a heartwarming viral video set to the Sick Puppies’ song “All The Same” featuring a street performance artist giving out free hugs would catapult the band to wider fame. Tear-jerking videos aside, however, longtime fans know that the Sick Puppies music is usually far more loud and best experienced LIVE. With Shimon Moore’s powerful vox, Mark Goodwin’s virtuoso drumming, and Emma Anzai’s seriously sick bass-playing skills, admirers never miss the chance to grab tickets to watch Sick Puppies perform hits like “You’re Going Down,” “Odd One,” “Riptide,” “There’s No Going Back” and “Die To Save You” LIVE in concert. The dynamic band plays a blend of acoustic and high octane tunes, taking fans from mellow to mosh-pit within seconds. It’s no surprise that Sick Puppies fans travel from far and wide to catch their stellar act. Band members cite Green Day, Rage Against the Machine and Silver Chair as major influences on their sound, while their music has been compared to Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed.

Sick Puppies and Adelita's Way are 2 fantastic bands. I have seen both bands before and they never fail to amaze me with the fantastic show they put on. The energy from their performances makes the crowd pumped up, jumping around for the entire set. I will definitely be seeing both bands again in the future.
Sick Puppies gave another terrific performance
by Aerochik310 on 3/28/11Crocodile Rock - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5The show was terrrific, could have had fewer openers and more time for the Sick Puppies on stage. But we got to meet them after the show and get autographs. I love that they are soooo into the crowd and take the time to meet fans afterwards!!

by FFEMT272 on 3/23/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5Whole show was completely amazing, never a dull in the show, completely worth every penny, and introduced me to new music I haven't heard before, completely amazed!
Sick Puppies Have a New Fan
by BreezyJones on 3/23/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5My boyfriend took me to see Sick Puppies at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville NJ last Sunday. We listened to a few songs in the car which sounded good but nothing prepared me for the actual live performance I was to see. The energy that came off the stage was palpable and from the first song SP had the crowd in the palm of their hands. As a singer and live performer myself I know how addictive it is to see a crowd respond to every move you make on stage. It was obvious that the crowd was having a blast but the Pups as well. We're seeing them again in Lancaster March 25th and I can't wait.
Great Show
by Jmanshow on 3/23/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 4 out of 5I was with a group of people at this concert. The opening bands were great and Sick Puppies put on a great show. They definitely get the crowd involved too which I thought was great. I felt the energy and they played off that as well. I have to say as well that the bass player is super hot. There are not many rock chics that work it and oh boy she is gorgeous. Aside from adding that I figured it was important to say that in a smaller venue Sick Puppies was great. I have never seen them large scale, but I bet they are good as well.
Rocked all night!
by Binkstud on 3/22/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5The first band "Me Talk Pretty" was the only downer. They weren't terrible but they weren't good either. Chick lead singer with a decent voice, but not powerful enough to even hear the whiny lyrics. Framing Hanley played second and they brought the energy up a ton. Really solid pop/punk/rock fusion. Adelita's Way was after that. They rocked really hard and got the crowd moving. I had heard of these guys but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend money on their record. Now I certainly will. They put on a good show and had no dead songs in the set. The singer was also really cool and was hanging out with people before and after his set. Headliners Sick Puppies were amazing. I had been waiting to see them since I picked up their major debut "Dressed Up as a Life." They did not disappoint. Rocked the crowd all night and the bassist, Emma, looked so hot doing it.

The lead up to Sick Puppies was fun. Then, they came out and they crowed loved them. A mosh pit was instantly going and the lead singer was enticing the mosh to party harder. He had us all dancing, fist pumping, rocking hard and jumping as one big crowd. In the middle of their show, they went acoustic and played their more somber songs and it was beautiful. The band really wanted the crowed involved in their music and that made the even all the more enjoyable. I will def see them next time they come around!!!!
Sick Puppies get even better!
by Michko on 3/22/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5I flew to Orlando to see them about a year ago, and they were good. A year later they are fantastic! The band was tight, each member's performance was 10x better. Outstanding band live, see them!!
sick puppies rocked!
by beachbum1022 on 3/22/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5I've seen the sick puppies 6 times now and they never disappoint! Enjoyed framing Hanley and adelitas way also. Me talk pretty needs more time, they were ok

Sick Puppies sick indeed!
by PdamRachel on 3/21/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 4 out of 5Aside from the disgustingly drunk chick having face-sex with the ugly underage boy in front of my sister & I for the first hour of the night - the show was awesome! First timer for seeing Sick Puppies as well as the opening bands & I was not disappointed. And, couldn't beat the ticket price.
What a Gift!
by 1SMC on 3/20/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5I didn't go cause I worked tha night! I bought the tickets for my wife and my "girl" friend! They both loved it; they really enjoyed the whole show! They picked me up at work afterward and showed me all the signatures they got; pictures and tshirts. I was happy to see them happy and felt great of giving them that gift!

A memorable rock-out!
by ChrisCap on 3/19/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5Sick Puppies is a band I very much like. I was expecting them to be good live, but not nearly this good. They had a great stage presence. Shimon Moore, is an amazing singer live, and the fact the he was playing guitar as well made it that much better. Emma Anzai is amazing at Bass and is great onstage. And Mark Goodwin tops it off with his awesome drumming. All the songs are a but different than the album versions, and most contain some pretty sick solos. I gotta say, this makes it that much more worth it to see em.The way they performed, really got me excited to see them again!
Sick Puppies
by NHamm on 3/19/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 4 out of 5I only wish I could've seen the 2 bands that played ahead of Sick Puppies because what I caught was very good...The sound system was Great and the venue seems to have made some improvements...I felt cool air circulating...
Amazing, as usual...
by Clarkity on 3/18/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5I've been listening to this band since I saw them open for Flyleaf several years ago. This was my 11th time seeing them, and they just keep getting better and better. Shim knows how to get the crowd going and Emma is AMAZING on the bass. If you have any respect for musicians who know how to really play their instruments, go see SICK PUPPIES!
