About

Australian hard-rock trio Sick Puppies made their mark in the music world in the late ‘90s and early 2000’s with angst-ridden gems like “Nothing Really Matters” and a hard-hitting, far darker version of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.” With such emo fare, it’s odd that a heartwarming viral video set to the Sick Puppies’ song “All The Same” featuring a street performance artist giving out free hugs would catapult the band to wider fame. Tear-jerking videos aside, however, longtime fans know that the Sick Puppies music is usually far more loud and best experienced LIVE. With Shimon Moore’s powerful vox, Mark Goodwin’s virtuoso drumming, and Emma Anzai’s seriously sick bass-playing skills, admirers never miss the chance to grab tickets to watch Sick Puppies perform hits like “You’re Going Down,” “Odd One,” “Riptide,” “There’s No Going Back” and “Die To Save You” LIVE in concert. The dynamic band plays a blend of acoustic and high octane tunes, taking fans from mellow to mosh-pit within seconds. It’s no surprise that Sick Puppies fans travel from far and wide to catch their stellar act. Band members cite Green Day, Rage Against the Machine and Silver Chair as major influences on their sound, while their music has been compared to Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed.

This venue is amazing for shows. And having the Sick Puppies play there just made everything so much better. If I didnt live 1400 miles away I would always visit this place.

Second time I've seen sick puppies. One of my all time favorite bands. Already have tickets to see a third time. Their show is incredible. They play to the crowd and their presence is not missed.

  • Great Show

Took my son for his 18th Birthday. Sick Puppies rocked the place, however Devour the Day was as good! Actually felt like Devour the Day was a bit more "personable" I understand Sick Puppies are more established and all, but they gave off the unapproachable vibe. Devour the Day of course being hungry and up and coming Rocked the hell out of the place, and still shook your hand and spoke to you as a band should in the small venue setting. Still a GREAT rocks how.

  • Always a great show from SPs

This band is always amazing in concert! It seems like they really give everything they've got to the fans that are there! Each member exudes soooo much energy and it's infectious! I was looking forward to this show for about 2-3 months and it was worth the wait! And, I had never heard any Devour the Day songs, but now, they are added to my Spotify playlist!

Small venue=personable feel! The acoustic VIP set was probably the best VIP purchase I've experienced. They really gave their fans their undivided attention and an awesome experience I will never forget!

  • Both the SICK PUPPIES AND 10 YEARS were great!

    by ChefMichael57 on 5/28/14CHAMELEON CLUB - LANCASTERRating: 5 out of 5

First off- the CHAMELEON CLUB in Lancaster is a great mid size club (775 capacity) 10 YEARS came on first and kicked some serious ass! JESSE HASEK IS AS GOOD A PERFORMER AS THEY COME! I remember turning to Karen and saying this is gonna be a tough act for the Puppies to follow! But the SICK PUPPIES matched their predecessors with a high powered- in your face set featuring the super hot EMMA ANZAI playing a ferocious bass and prowling the stage like a panther protecting its turf. MOST STIMULATING! As good was SHIMON MOORE who did a masterful job on guitar and vocals much to the glee of the ladies in the audience. Rounding out the threesome from Australia was MARK GOODWIN on drums. Together they provided a solid set of hard rock! As a rule I'm normally into the new bands on the rise but occasionally it's good to see some seasoned veterans just blow the doors off a club. The SICK PUPPIES and 10 YEARS did that in glorious fashion this night!
