What a fantastic night of incredible music! Both bands were fantastic. Venue was beautiful.
Shooting Star put on a great show. They are all very talented musicians that truly appear to enjoy what they are doing. A special shout out to Janet Jameson on violin. She was a blast to watch.
Sounded just like they were playing on the radio but even better. Rocked it out! Hope to see them again someday
I do enjoy this venue. It's close and personal. I do appreciate security keeping stragglers from standing in the isles and close to the stage. The band is awesome. I do look forward to the next time.
The show was good. First time I saw a show at this venue. Wasn’t too crazy about the stage, seating was good. Tha sound left quite a bit to be desired.
The concert got off to a rock start. Most bands come out with a hit or other fan favorite. The first songs were not favorites and maybe had never been heard by most fans. The sound mix was very bad. You could not make out the lead guitar or understand what the singer was singing. Eventually, they got around to playing their hits and fan favorites. The mix got better, and the last part of the concert was outstanding.
First time at RiverCity Casino and the concert venue is excellent and the sound was fantastic. Of course it helps to have a top notch band! SHOOTING STAR!!!
We have seen Shooting Star a number of times. We have also been to the River City Casino for a number of shows. The band was tight and played all their hits and more. The only complaint I have was shared by a number of other guests. The guitars were very low in the mix, prompting people to say is the guitar even plugged in. I had thought the same thing as well. The sound was really compressed, maybe the sound was run by the venue or maybe by the band. Either way the sound could have been a little better when it comes to guitar volume. All in all a great show.
One of the best shows I’ve seen. They were spot on!
It's a great venue, just the right size. Shooting Star was of course fantastic. And Missouri was fantastic too. I've seen Shooting Star countless times but only my second time for Missouri. It's something I really enjoy doing.
I was blown away the performance, the new additions to the band were fantastic, and merged together with original members and songs, it was incredible. I would definatly like to see this Band again. also it was a touch of class to see Missouri as the opening band
This was my first time seeing Shooting Star and they were everything I hoped and more. I will definitely see them again. Wow!
Seeing Shooting Star brought back so many great memories as a kid growing up jamming to Hang Onto Your Life Tonight and Last Chance. They did not disappointment despite only having one original member in the band. They put on a great performance from beginning to end.
Love, love, love, Shooting Star! These guys have such good chemistry together that their onset interactions are wonderful to see.
Both bands were awesome. Lead singer's had great vocals especially Shooting Stars lead singer. Best show I have been to in a long time!!!
Fabulous!!! Saw them last year at this venue and they were even better this year. Thanks - it was fantastic!!
The first song was a little rough. But he settled down after awhile.
Fantastic Show! This is a Amazing version of one the most underrated Bands of all time! I highly recommend catching them, wether you are familiar with them or not
They were just as good as I remember them years ago and playing live. They were just as good as the record.
Shooting Star put on a great show! Very talented musicians. I would have given it 5 stars except the venue (Ameristar Casino) was terrible! The folding seats were tiny and rows were way too close together. No air was circulating and it was stifling on a 25 degree day! It greatly detracted from my enjoyment of the show, feeling so jammed into the venue.
