Shin Lim on Tour
Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.
There's drama, music, and a kind of a ballet to Lim's magic. And he's known for performing his illusions without uttering a word, letting his hands and his cards do all the talking while his carefully curated music — Lim started out as a musician — tickles the audience's ears. Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
My family and I were blown away by these amazing magicians! My wife and I went to the Magic Castle and watched as magicians performed right in front of our eyes. This show truly displayed the art of illusion the same way as the magicians in the Magic Castle.
Fast moving and entertaining. Shin and Colin put on an incredible show. They engage the audience and do not disappoint. You won't believe your eyes!
While Shin Lim is an incredible magician and his sleight of hand is truly amazing, if you have seen his AGT performances, then you have seen it all. Kind of a one-note performance, unfortunately.
Highly recommend attending the Shin Lim show at The Mirage Theater. His show was well orchestrated and his performance was amazing. He incorporated his story to success and failures and his drive to remain Limitless!
Really great 2 hour performance by Shin and Colin (both AGT alum). Strong stage presence by Colin and really funny, and pairs well with Shin's tricks in between. I estimate they each did 5 performances, and timed really well. The flow of the show is solid, with a banger of a finale!
Mr Lin is very talented and was good at audience participation as well as sharing his story, people like that and seems to be sincere and we wish him continued success in his career and encouragement to others. The other gentleman Colin Cloud are a good team and Mr Cloud was personable and entertaining. May they both have a great future.
Best show I’ve ever seen. Wish I could have stayed an extra night to go again
The show was great... however purchasing the tickets was a nightmare I was trying to buy tickets to Ron White & when you clicked on buy tickets it had actually taken me to this show without me realizing it. I even called your customer service trying to get help transferring my “Ron White” tickets & she said nothing about it being to the wrong show. Once it was transferred I seen Shin Lim & immediately called back. Of course the “ policy” is no refunds . I feel I was scammed into buying these tickets!! I also wasted hours of my time trying to resolve this.
Shin Lim is amazing but his emcee/co-star was just as amazing and way more entertaining! The ‘story’ that we were following wasn’t the best way to showcase SinLim and we were always glad when Cloud came back to the stage. Super great family entertainment for all ages. We loved the show!
The crowd interaction was amazing. I have seen a few magic shows and this by far was the best one.
We enjoyed the Shin Lim show very much. We watched him on America's Got Talent and were looking forward to seeing his how in person. We were not disappointed. His card magic acts were unbelievable. His partner was also terrific with his "mind reading" magic acts. This was a very enjoyable show. We are glad we attended.
This is a great act! Well worth the money. The magic is mostly card tricks but they are so amazing and varied that you never get bored and your eyes can’t believe it. Shin’s partner is very funny and keeps the audience engaged. The audience participation is kept to just the right amount. Nothing embarrassing or messy1
The tag team of Colin and Shin was awesome. Being selected to go on stage and be part of the performance made it that much more special. Highly recommend them!
I loved the show it was magic and funny all wrapped up in one show. There are no words for how awesome the show was and I would totally go again.
The entire performance was captivating and so entertaining. Both SL and Colin are incredible! This is our second time to see the show and we were spellbound both times.

What a spectacular show! You must see this!!! We have seen many magic/illusionists in Vegas, and loved each and every one, but this is mystifying. We kept asking, “How can he not drop a card or make a mistake?? How can the cards disappear and reappear in a box? How can smoke come out of his mouth forming into a card w the marks a volunteer put on it? We all participated and tore up cards and threw all but 2 away and the two left matched tear marks!! How that works is unimaginable! The music added to the mystique and wonder. You MUST see Shin Lim!!!!!

We have seen David Copperfield and Chris Angel which are great entertaining Magic Shows in Vegas, but Shin Lim has set a whole new standard in Magic & Showmanship with LIMITLESS! You will be doubled wowed by Shin Lim and Colin Cloud (AGT finalist) who performed mind reading tricks that have no explanation!! - I strongly recommend buying seats in the first four rows to ensure the best viewing experience. You will not be disappointed!
