Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
This was the most incredible show! Shim Lin performed the most jaw dropping illusions. The entire audience sat with mouths open in amazement. And Spidey was so engaging as the host. I actually booked the event BECAUSE he was hosting! He blew our minds as well with his performance. Just a wonderful, fun and entertaining night!
He talks really low I almost immediately fell asleep I was disappointed.

Absolutely loved Shin Lim and Spidey! The Mentalist was a nice addition to the magic of Shin Lim. The theater was beautiful and the projections of the close up magic were large enough to see.

The quickest 90 minutes, truly outstanding, Spider, the mentalist was amazing as well! It was like watching 2 shows in one.
Show was amazing and kept your interest and wonder, including the psychic. Shin needs to speak louder and sometimes the story telling needs to speed up.
It was a mix of amazing magic tricks and funny moments. The flow was good and worth what we paid. Shin Lim’s skills are worth seeing in person. I recommend this show to anyone who loves magic.
This man definitely has a great talent with magic! But way too many card tricks! We were at the live show and when he won AGT. And he used the same exact card trick that he did on the finale with Tyra Banks. He does have some extra performers that were very good too! Overall the show is good but not exactly fantastic!! So we’ll give it 4 stars!

Shin is amazing, we paid for the M&G and he was great with everybody and even talked a bit. The show was unreal and you will really enjoy it, he’s amazing!
