Sheng Wang is a Taiwanese Texan who developed and honed his comedy in the thriving standup community of the San Francisco Bay Area. He performs jokes based on personal experiences and observations and addresses common non-sense with honesty and ill logic. His refreshingly affable stage presence combined with a healthy penchant for absurdity and self-deprecation make his act hilarious and universally accessible.
He has toured with the Comedians of Comedy and American Eagle’s ‘Campus Comedy Challenge.’ He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s ‘Live at Gotham' and attended the 'Just for Laughs’ comedy festival in Montreal. Wang's half hour Comedy Central special aired in 2011. NBC also awarded him with a holding deal that same year. Wang's appearance on the John Oliver NY Stand Up Show aired in August of 2012.
Took a special weekend trip to SD for this. Sheng is one of my favorite comedians and I love his style of comedy. Took hubby who couldn't stop laughing and our 3 kids 16, 13, and 10. Comedy had some mature content, but not vulgar, teens laughed (yes! teens having fun with parents) 10 yr old "didn't get it"lol. Not a problem, we took him to seaworld the next day. Now they're taking out their purple toothbrushes... let's go!
Super awesome show ... Sheng and Kevin were amazing. 100% worth it.
He is an expert at observational humor and I really connect with how he views the world the and stage in life lense that has me in tears laughing. My wife and I really still Laughing at his jokes!
Sheng Wang knocked it out of the park, again! This was a great follow up show to his Sweet and Juicy Netflix special. Lots of great, new material, and his unique take on life is so funny and relatable. This was my second time watching his set and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time! It was hilarious! Highly recommended!
I have been a fan since I watched his Netflix special. I booked this show and invited 2 friends who knew nothing about this comedian. They loved the show. One friend really enjoyed Wang’s delivery and topics. We got a kick how he compared something to plate tectonics. My other friend loved how he didn’t need to use foul language to be funny. I loved the entire show. As I stated, he didn’t disappoint with his new material. I hope to see him again.
Sheng is great. His delivery and observations of every day experiences are relatable and so funny. Do not miss an opportunity to see him live.

Took my son to the show as his first. We both laughed really hard and as hard as is nowadays to please a teenager, he would definitely do it again.
Sheng always delivers that quirky observational comedy mixed with situational humor. He got the mark again during his Hard Rock Cafe set. He was totally worth the hour long drive. Shout out also to his opening act for set as well. Can’t wait until they’re back in the area again.
If you like his netflix show sweet and juicy, you will enjoy this tour. He has such great delivery. Also, he took selfies with the audience after show which was nice.
Sheng Wang was hilarious. His comedy is relatable and you can laugh at all the jokes without feeling guilty. Nice, clean comedy and a show that was fun for all. The delivery of his jokes and his transitions were perfect.
I bought tickets on a whim per a recommendation from a friend. I am so glad I did. Sheng was hilarious. Throughly enjoyed my time. Many laughs! #purpletoothbrush
The actual show, sound and lighting was wonderful. But the seats literally had zero space in between them so you were practically sitting on your neighbors lap. I am a small woman and I couldn’t even raise my arms high enough to drink my overpriced cocktail. I even made my date switch seats with me so I could sit on the end of the row because I didn’t want to rub thighs with a stranger. I understand they are trying to maximize the number of seats in the venue but for such pricey tickets I expected more.

Sheng Wang is hilarious and inventive and relatable. We laughed so hard his entire set.
I really enjoyed this show. Very funny guy. However, Sheng Wang kinda disappointed for me because his content doesn't thread through. each bit he does is separate from the other and so it kinda feels like a book of short stories versus a novel that ties together nicely. We kept hoping he would reference back to something else he brought up but it just kinda never happens.
I honestly have NEVER laughed so hard in my life. Beginning to end non stop laughs. I will definitely make a point to go see Sheng Wang any time or place he performs.
Saw Sheng Wang at the Moore in Seattle. Laughed pretty much the entire set through. If you get a chance to see him in person, highly recommend. The Moore is beautiful but it is old so save yourself some extra time here. If you have seat G10 in the balcony, be warned, there are 4 of them. There are duplicates of every seat, and there will be confusion. It can all be worked out but the seating is slightly chaotic.
So hilarious and I never got the sense that the audience was a target or felt an ick moment. Laughing the whole time. Plus he waved back at me!
Sheng Wang was so good!!!!! Couldn’t stop laughing! The line going in was well managed and wasn’t too long of a wait. Getting to seats was easy too!
