    Poor venue

by Chris on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

Show didn’t start until almost 10 because of audio difficulties from the venue. No fault of the band. They did what they could. But you could tell that they were frustrated as well as the audience. We didn’t stay for the entire show because of the experience.

    Poor Performance

by Clark on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

After a good stand-up comedian opened the show, there was about an hour wait for She and Him to come on with no explanation from the crew until a minute before the came out. The sound was very loud and poorly balanced from our seats mid-way up on the lower level. audio kept cutting out during the show. The venue ran out of alcohol before the concert started. I’ve waited a long time to see this show in dallas and it was a let down overall. I would maybe see the show again, but not at McFarlin.

    Good show, many technical issues.

by Jerbs on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

Overall they put on an entertaining show and everyone was very talented but there were consistent audio issues throughout that caused a nearly hour long delay that still didn’t get fully worked out during the set causing sound drops.

McFarlin Auditorium Venue's Sounds Killed The Concert

by Josh S on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

First off, She & Him were great - they performed well and did their best with the circumstances. On the other hand, the McFarlin Auditorium audio was terrible. The audio amplification cut in and out multiple times while they were performing and it took away from the whole experience. Sure, the venue looks pretty but I'd rather have the sound quality over aesthetics any day. I will not be returning to the McFarlin Auditorium anytime soon but I would be more than happy to see She & Him again!

Unfortunately there was sound issues with the PA system.

by Dirty on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

The sound system was cutting in & out throughout the entire show. Other than that. It was a pleasant experience. Beautiful venue.

    Great show, despite technical difficulties

by Ashleigh on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

The performance of She and Him was spectacular. My only complaint with this show is that there were some serious technical difficulties, which made it difficult at times to enjoy the show. Additionally, because of the technical difficulties, the show was delayed 45 minutes or so. Because we drove from OKC and had to drive back to OKC from Dallas that evening, we were unable to stay for the whole set. This was a bit disappointing as well.

Loved the band, hated the venue

by Atkins on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

Due to technical difficulties involving the sound system, She and Him ended up starting an hour and a half late. They spent that hour and a half backstage trying to figure out if they were going to have to do an acoustic set because of how jacked up everything was. And even after it seemed everything had been sorted out, the speakers still would shut off in the middle of their songs. It was so embarrassing. I felt really bad for She and Him. They sounded fantastic! The band was great! But the McFarlin Auditorium screwed everything up for them.

    Bad speakers

by Johnny Ray on 12/14/21McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

This show was a big let down. Right from the beginning during the opening act the speakers would cut in and out. We then waited awhile between acts as they tried to fix it and at first it seemed they had but then it just became a problem again. At one point near the end, I guess it got so bad that they invited the opening act back up so they could do some really terrible banter/skit thing to pass time. It was bad. So bad that my wife (who I bought the tickets for) wanted to leave. I’ve called and asked about refunds for the show but of course I have gotten nowhere. Just a real bummer of a show.

    Fun, Festive Show!

She + Him really put us in the Christmas spirit! Good mix of songs and a great band! And opener Pete Lee was hysterical! A+++++++++++

    Not bad

    by J. K. on 12/13/21

We showed up late for the Atlanta Tabernacle show and probably missed the first 1/4. Zooey's voice is great live but the sound engineers had her volume turned up too high and it shrilled above everything else. Matt's guitar playing was good and we were impressed with him and the backing musicians. We were enjoying their set and Christmas music and then they switched gears. They stopped for about 15-20 minutes, or what seemed like forever, and brought out the comedian (friend?) that opened the show and had a weird banter with him for a while and then answered fan questions. They then played through a set of their non-Christmas song... which sounded good and I hope their big fans enjoyed. It was enjoyable, but I was hoping for more Christmas and the downturn killed the momentum of the show.

    Amazing performance

by Jess B on 12/13/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I haven’t seen She & Him live before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s safe to say we were blown away by everything! First, the live vocals were amazing. Zooey Deschanel’s voice was spectacular. The music was awesome. And the set design was the vintage, but modern, wonderland I would expect of Zooey Deschanel’s style. And it was fun! It was a wonderful show for the Ryman and protege best Christmas show I have/will see. I am crossing my fingers She & Him will be back to Nashville next year!

    SO LOUD

by LaurenTN on 12/11/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Great music, great visuals, but SO LOUD. I expect concerts to be loud, but this one was especially loud for a show indoors.

A great night of holiday music to get in the spirit!! It’s nice to just listen to the purity of someone’s voice on stage. First time seeing She and Him. Thanks to all for a great experience! Sorry some of the audience was lame. Get it together Chicago crowd!!

Came for Christmas Music, Got a Comedy Show

by Ben on 12/11/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Show started 30 mins late. There was an undisclosed comedian who opened and performed for 45 mins. Wasn’t really in a stand up comedy mood just wanted to listen to some nice Christmas music. Because of the delays we missed our dinner reservation. Comedian also came out for a Q&A Galloway through the show as well. Actual music was good but so much around it tainted the experience.

    Awesome!

    by user9184 on 12/11/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

She & Him are just as magical live as you'd imagine and watching them in the historical Ryman made it even more wonderful!

    First time at the Ryman

by Music Lover on 12/11/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

It was a really fun show. I do recommend the balcony seats at the Ryman as opposed to the seats below the balcony. Her mic was turned up way too loud though, making it unpleasant whenever she sang and I wished I had brought ear plugs. I was surprised the sound mixers didnt pick up on that and correct it as it was pretty jarring and isolated only to her mic. Also, it would be nice in general if concerts paid more concern to hearing health and the damage they are doing to eardrums, and either turn it down a few notches or offer acoustic earplugs.

    Killer show - amazing performance

    by D. J. on 12/12/19Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

She and Him put on a fantastic show - mostly their Christmas tunes, but also a handful of their other songs. Zoey has an amazing voice - showcased by an amazing closer of "I Put a Spell on You" which reverberated throughout the hall as they left the stage. M. Ward is a super talented guitarist as well and the entire band was superb. There wasn't one thing wrong I could find with the show and the King's Theater is an absolutely amazing venue - probably the most beautiful hall I've been to.
