SHAWN MENDES IN CONCERT:
Up-and-coming pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes may have gotten his start posting six second covers to video sharing service Vine, but he's quickly become as impressive live as he is on screen. Hot off the heels of his 2014 debut single "Life of the Party", Mendes has proven his vocal and performance chops on the MAGCON tour, which features budding social media stars in concert. A talented new arrival with a debut album in the works, Mendes' star will continue to rise as he hits the road as a supporting act on Austin Mahone's summer 2014 tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Shawn Mendes was born in a Toronto suburb of Pickering in 1998. In 2013 he began posting cover snippets to video sharing site Vine, and within a few months he had amassed millions of followers who praised his prodigious vocal talents and boyish good looks. In early 2014 he won Ryan Seacrest's "Best 35 Covers" competition with his moving rendition of A Great Big World's single "Say Something", gaining exposure to countless new fans. Several months later his debut single "Life of the Party" landed at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the youngest artist ever to score a Top 25 hit on the chart. A precocious young talent with big things on the horizon, Mendes will continue to build his ever-growing fanbase on tour with Austin Mahone in summer 2014.
Such a talented performer! Been a big fan of Shawn since 2013 and his shows have definitely improved since then! His talent is unbelievable and the show was incredible!

I honestly did not know what to expect. I took my 11 year old daughter and her friend for their first concert. There were TONS of teenage girls, moms and a sprinkling of dads and the scream level was pretty intense so if anyone is sensitive to noise, I would suggest bringing earplugs. I must say Shawn Mendes has ridiculous talent!! His voice is fabulous & he can play the acoustic guitar, electric guitar as well as the piano. He played all of his "hits" and most of his other songs.
The performance was way more incredible than I couldve imagined. The ticket process was easy which made the whole night that much better.
These young guys did a great job! It was like getting two top billed concerts for the price of one. My daughter thanked about 10 times.
My girls and I will not forget this show. The atmosphere was perfect. Sounds choices but both artist were on point.

Shawn's album is an absolute bop and hearing it life was even better. His energy was contagious and everyone in the arena was smiling ear to ear. His stage setup allowed everyone to have a pretty good view at one point which is awesome!! Would definetely go again!
Although I was sitting kind of far the sound quality was good and the view was amazing. Him only was perfect. I do recommend making the screens in the side a little bigger for the people all away in the back could see better but all in all it was the best experience ever and I can't wait to see Shawn again and maybe this time I'll get VIP!!

Shawn was engaged with the audience the whole time. He never seemed tired and the concert didn't drag on. He had an amazing opener and Ed Sheeran performed too as a surprise. How freakin awesome. Wish I could relive that night over and over again

I had close seats i got surprised with them. At first i was going to get seats that were all the way in the top and i was tall so i actually made eyecontact with both Charlie and Shawn. I'll never forget that night i yelled and sang so loud that i lost my voice the next morning. This was my first concert ever. It was worth it after waiting years to see Shawn. I got so emotional throughout the concert and the next day. I miss them so much.
Took my daughter and her friends to his concerts and they had the BEST time making MEMORIES. Thanks for a great show..

let me start this off by saying that ticketmaster somehow blessed me with row two tickets for face value and i have no idea what i did to deserve them. charlie's set was amazing and he was so interactive with the crowd. this was my ninth time seeing shawn in concert and it is one that i will remember forever. each and every time i am simply awestruck at the level of hard work that shawn and his team put into the set, from the background visuals to interacting with the crowd. apart from being close to main stage, j somehow managed to snag a decent spot near the front of b stage. although it was a hot and sweaty mess with people cursing me out in foreign languages, the intimacy that fans share with shawn there makes up for it 100%. the security guard at front row was also incredibly nice, he gave me the set list at the end of the show and i will be forever grateful for him.
