This was a great decision. I wasn't sure at first if my one year old would stay interested throughout the entire show, but they did a great job with changing everything up enough to keep his attention. Different scenery, lights, songs, and sounds captured his curiosity through the whole show. We are very glad we decided to go and will be in attendance next year :)
There was one fallback, but it had nothing to do with the show itself. Donna Marie, an employee at Shea's, was very aggressive about parents with their cellphones. I saw her stomp up to seats and yell "NO VIDEO" several times...even when parents were taking photos of/with their children. She was way out of line in my opinion; I understand that recording a video is a no-no, but some people were clearly taking selfies and she could see that while marching up to them. She did it to me about halfway through the show after she stood and leaned over the seats in front of us (with kids in them, by the way) yelling across the row to someone else. I saw children watching her as she yelled at their parents, clearly a bit confused about what was going on. She should probably be behind a counter instead of out with the crowd, her aggressive manner was definitely uncalled for. C'mon lady, it's a kids' show; you don't scold parents in front of their kids for no reason. Actually, you shouldn't do that at all. Every other employee was very nice and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience.
