    Sesame Street Live!!!!

by BB1986 on 3/28/17Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

Awesome show for kids ages 1-8. The music is good and the kids still tuned for the whole show. The Sesame Street ballon they sell at intermission causes some distractions, the show needs to work on a way to avoid this.

    Sesame Street was Live!

by ChrissyNeal on 3/28/17Palace Theatre Columbus - Columbus

A lot of fun and I am the parent. The only thing I would change is they sold balloons at intermission, then asked us to put them away under our seats??? Come on now we have toddlers...

    Great show!!!

by Mimi772 on 3/27/17Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

It was a great show! My boys (5 and 2) loved it! The show was a little dialogue heavy during the first half, but the second half made up for it with pretty much only singing and dancing. Some of the characters came out into the crowd. My boys liked that even though they didn't come by them! They also liked the confetti drop!

The show is a very good show. I was very disappointed that it was the same show as last year though. We went last year and my grandson was very happy. Maybe I just didn't see where the show was described. I would not have gotten tickets had I known it was the same show.

    Amazing Show!

by AlyCat528 on 3/21/17Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

Amazing show! My son LOVED it, and it kept him entertained from start to finish! I would definitely bring him back again! Note to parents: Bring cash! Most sales are cash only, lots of souvenirs, photo ops, and things to purchase that your child will want, and it is all cash only.

    Cute Show

by TuhSa on 3/15/17Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

This is our second Sesame Street Live. The first was the Dance show which we loved. This show was good. The first act seemed a bit long with all of the dialogue but the second act was engaging and our girls loved it. More music and dancing in the second act. The first act could just be that our girls were too young right now to completely follow it. The performers were tops. Fun show!

    Great Show

by NetsirkP on 3/15/17Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

This was a great decision. I wasn't sure at first if my one year old would stay interested throughout the entire show, but they did a great job with changing everything up enough to keep his attention. Different scenery, lights, songs, and sounds captured his curiosity through the whole show. We are very glad we decided to go and will be in attendance next year :) There was one fallback, but it had nothing to do with the show itself. Donna Marie, an employee at Shea's, was very aggressive about parents with their cellphones. I saw her stomp up to seats and yell "NO VIDEO" several times...even when parents were taking photos of/with their children. She was way out of line in my opinion; I understand that recording a video is a no-no, but some people were clearly taking selfies and she could see that while marching up to them. She did it to me about halfway through the show after she stood and leaned over the seats in front of us (with kids in them, by the way) yelling across the row to someone else. I saw children watching her as she yelled at their parents, clearly a bit confused about what was going on. She should probably be behind a counter instead of out with the crowd, her aggressive manner was definitely uncalled for. C'mon lady, it's a kids' show; you don't scold parents in front of their kids for no reason. Actually, you shouldn't do that at all. Every other employee was very nice and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience.

    Perfect Family Show

by brandy26 on 3/15/17Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

We had so much fun! It was my husband and I, and our 2 and 4 year old children. The kids were captivated from beginning to end! There is a lot of singing and dancing with a little dialogue, which is perfect to keep the kids interested. We can't wait to go again!

Wonderful show for the younger set....ages 3-5, probably. It's a good "first theater" experience. Cute story, beloved characters, bright colors, fun music., and short enough to hold their interest. My only complaints: ridiculously expensive souvenirs ($10 for a balloon which will only serve to block the view of others in the theater), and no reduced ticket price for children. I doubt that the shows were all sold out, but if they reduced the price for kids, I'll bet the seats would all be filled (they'd make up the difference by selling more $10 balloons)....and the payoff would come in 20 years when those kids grow up to be adult theater goers. This was my kids' first theater experience, and now it is my grandkids' "first". The show has stood the test of time.

Great show! My 1 year old was entertained the whole time. Intermission was about 3/4 of the way through, but well timed as far as attention span goes.
