Seeing my daughter's excitement was priceless! My 3-year old described the show as "amazing".
It was really great for my daughter. She actually got to go twice.
I took all 4 of my children to see Sesame Street Live on opening night and we had a blast!!! Even my 14 year old enjoyed EVERY minute of it. My 4 year old loved it so much she is going again with her Papa today!!! Thnks for such a wonderful memory!!!
The show was great for my two and three year old. Too bad I was fuming the whole time or I could have enjoyed it too. I am a full-time working mom of two and this was a treat to take time out and take my family to see their favorite Elmo. We pre-ordered our tickets, they arrived, I put them in the drawer and three months before the show and off we went. EASY! We arrived early to get to our 6th row (or up close) seats. As we went through the gate we were told the tickets were for yesterday. UH-OH! Imagine my suprise and emotion when I found this out. My fault of course! The usher was kind and sent us to the customer service area. Everyone was lovely. An employee took my tickets and brought them to her manager. My fault - I felt lucky to have such great service when I'm near tears due to my own quick mistake with two kids wanting to go see Elmo anxiously waiting. The manager opens her window and the only thing out of her mouth is "Next time look at your tickets." Shocked - I asked "Excuse me?" Manager - "You had your tickets for three months, you should have looked at them." Me - "You think I don't already know that? Can you tell me where we're going?" She handed me the tickets and says these were the best seats available - not in the same section. I was ok with that and appreciative of the new seats - until I got in and the place was empty! I spent the whole show trying to let her rude scolding go. Way to turn what could've been a great customer service moment into a crappy one. I already felt bad and didn't need a scolding from the manager. She should take a lesson from her employees and learn about customer service!
This Sesame Street performance was top notch. I especially liked the healthy theme that flowed throughout the show. The only thing that was really unacceptable was the $25 parking fee. Really outrageous!
The audio wasn't very good. Hard to hear the different friends talking and singing. There were not very many people at this event.for the time we went which was 10:30 am. Maybe if you come back the winter would be a better time. Parents need to find fun safe things for their young children to do up here when we day dark about 20 hours a day. The show was good for the young children attending.
I thought it was very nice to finally see a children's event in Fairbanks. The tickets were a little spendy, but we were able to get a coupon which was awesome. We have 4 children and they just absolutely loved it!! And yes even I enjoyed it!! It was so fun and I really liked how they had an intermission so there was a chance to take the children to the bathroom.
two year old granddaughter loved it. Show was well done.
My husband and I took our almost 3 year old daughter. We all had a really great time. The show was very entertaining.
It was Amazing not only for my 3 year old but i had an amazing time as well, it brought me back to my childhood and reminded me why i loved the show so much!
I knew my son, 2 1/2, was going to love this show but boy did he actually LOVE LOVE this show! I would say that getting as close as possible is worth every penny. It would not have been the experience it was if we weren't three rows back. It is a little pricey for the up close seats but DO IT, you won't regret it!
It was a really good show. The only thing I wished was that Elmo and the rest of the gang would have come out for pictures at the end. Thanks for a great time.
It was a great production. The charachters were in the aisles often when they were not on stage. The plot was simple to follow. The costumes were colorful. The singing and dancing were great. I have never been disappointed by a Sesame Street Production and I cannot say that for other shows that our family has seen. Well worth it!
My 4 year old daugter didn't move from her seat during this show. We bought the cd soudtrack and she has listened to it everyday since the show (now 2 weeks). The music was fun and even familiar to me. We almost didn't go to this show. I'm glad a friend pushed us to go!
So I would recommend this event to a friend, but I would hope that in the future the sound is much better and a smaller more intimate venue would probably be better. My two year old had a great time seeing his favorite characters and especially loved when the lights looked like stars. Him being so happy was the most important thing!
My daughter loved the show some of the characters came down the aile and shook her hand.
Great job of keeping two four year olds and two adults entertained for 90 minutes. The songs and dances kept our attention and we were also able to participate on a few of the songs. This was my second time and I enjoyed as much as two years ago.
Took my 2 yr old to see this, she was glued to the stage almost the whole time. Cant wait for the next time they come out again
Took my 4 year old daughter to the show and she absolutely loved it! She was really able to follow the story and paid attention the whole time (unusual for my little one). I think before age 3 she probably wouldn't have had the attention span for it- so I could see it being a waste of money on the real little one's. Overall, I recommend the show- fun songs, great dancing especially considering how uncomfortable those costumes look! It's been four days since the concert and she's still singing the songs. Sitting close might be better because the characters come into the audience in the very front so your kids can see them more up close.
My husband and I took our 2.5 yr old daughter on opening morning and she loved it! She enjoyed every minute of it. She was captivated since the opening number till the end. We had great seats on the second row, middle isle, so she had a great view. The songs were very upbeat and the story line was very relatable for her age, I was explaining as it went along and she was catching on. You cannot put a price on these kind of memories!
