    Fun for kids and adults

    by Sari1583 on 5/10/11MassMutual Center - Springfield

I went with my niece who's 3 and she absolutely loved it! Of course her favorite part was when the characters came down to meet the kids. She shook hands with plenty of the characters, including Grover and Abby. It definitely kept her attention and she smiled the entire time:)

    soooo cute!

by poppispizza on 5/10/11MassMutual Center - Springfield

I went with my 10 month old son. I was worried he would not be interested. We sat in the front row and the "monsters" came down and interacted with the crowd. I will never forget his face when he saw Elmo!!!

Both of my children ( four and eighteen months) loved it. The only problem we had was keeping both of them entertained for the 15 minute intermission. We would definately go again!!

    Knocked our socks off!

by AbigailsMomma on 5/9/11MassMutual Center - Springfield

We had the most amazing time at Elmo's Green Thumb. We had front row center floor seats and my 5 yr old daughter got hugged by just about every character. She was so excited and loved the show. We had just been talking about planting a garden too! The show was a complete surprise to her until we walked in the door. I would definitely recommend this show for any child age 3 and up! The babies that were there spent most of the time in someone's arms crying.

Sesame street live was great for my 2 year old son and 3 year old nephew. They remained engaged for most of the show and they did a good job of keeping it moving for the kids. It was as painful for the adults as I have originally thought it would be.

We took our 2.5 yr old child to a Saturday showing and really enjoyed it. We picked an early moring and really thougt they would give us first avalible seats and no one was sitting in the first row so by intermission we moved seats. Other wise the show was great and the stage sceans were creative & colorful. It kept my sons attention. He even danced and sang along. take your kids they will thank you for it!

My son loved loved loved sesame street.

by Anonymous on 5/6/11The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

This event was great. We purchased the sunny seats package so my son got to meet Elmo and Grover before the show and get his picture with them, it was the best moment ever, his face was unforgettable. All through the show he kept pointing at the stage it was great, he was so lit up. He got to see pretty much every character and most of them came up to him during the show since we were right up front. It was great, would definitely recommend to anyone with kids who love sesame street!!!

My son wanted to go there for his 3rd birthday and he loved it! I would recommend everyone to take their child if they love Sesame Street. The Arena was nice, the prices for the toys and cotton candy was good also. Absolutely loved it!

    Great show!

by claraivysmom on 5/6/11The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

Because this was a 2nd birthday gift for our daughter, we paid the upgrade to get the VIP Sunny Patch package, which was supposed to include a "meet and greet" with some of the characters with the opportunity to take pictures. To me, this conjured up an image of a small party with several characters for 30 minutes before the show. That sounded ideal to me since my daughter loves the characters so much. However, the reality left a lot to be desired. For starters, the meet and greet was supposed to begin at 9:30am, but we were all left waiting, while trying to entertain small children, for a full 20 minutes in a small area where there were two chairs in front of a picture backdrop of Seseme Street. Finally, they ushered out two characters who were seated in the chairs and we were rushed up to the characters, they put their hands on my child to put her in Elmo's lap (unsuccessfully), and we had to rush to get a picture taken while they were trying to hurry us along. Not sure if it was the arena to blame, or the production, but we were highly unsatisfied with this part of the package. Thankfully, the package included front row seats that were ideal for keeping the attention of my 2 year old. The show was fun, full of great music, and the characters came down into the audience to interact frequently, much to the delight of my daughter. Even being that small, it still held her attention 95% of the time and she loved it. To sum it up: the meet and greet was a joke, but the front row seats and the show were excellent!

    GreatShow as always

by KadeMasyn on 5/6/11The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

The educational experience is always an added bonus to parents with these shows. The kids have a wonderful time watching their favorite characters but learn some neat things as well.

    Sesame street was expensive

by Jessip1112 on 5/6/11The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

The show was wonderful but the price was high. From seats to mylar balloons. Why sell a balloon for 10 dollars? The characters were winderful, they interacted with the kids and it wasnt the same character twice. Great show but expensive!

My 2 1/2 year old loved it. It was like she was at a rock concert. After each song was over she would say "I want to sing another song". It was great!!!
