    We loved Elmo!

by LizsKK on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

It was very lively. Our 2 year old was entranced with the lights, color and sound. The intermission was a little long, and it caused a minor issue getting her back under the spell of the show, but she is 2 and it went much better than expected. The 4 Adults loved it. It was everything we had hoped for, and made a very memorable 1st show trip for Lizzie and her Mom.

    Elmo's Green Thumb

by milfordmomof2 on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

Both of my kids enjoyed the show. The singing was great, and the interaction of the characters with the children was neat too. Telly was the most energetic character. My husband and I felt that it could have been done a little better. They talked the whole time about how a seed grows, but they never started the plant as a seed, and it never changed sizes. We kept waiting for the sunflower to grow bigger after they took the whole show to take care of it. Regardless, we would recommend this to people with small children.

    Elmo was great!

by Dgangel on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

This show was great! Our 1 yr old loved it. We did the meet and greet I wish that part went a little smoother, but other than that the show was great. We also liked that there was a small intermission so you could get up and move. It was the perfect length for little kids!

    Fun Show

by LoCon on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

My daughter is 5, so I was a little worried she was too old for this - but she loved it. Most of the kids were around 2 yrs old, so by intermission they were starting to get a bit antsy. The show was just the right amount of time for my daughter, good story, and lots of interaction with the characters. Just a word of caution - $10 Elmo balloons will be sold at intermission. Once the show starts back up, they must go under your seat. Many kids cried over this.

Child was bored little over half way

by EmsMamaw on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

My grandaughter is 2 1/2 and about a third of the way through the show she wanted to leave. $10 balloons was extreme. They don't have anything other than the costumed actors and singing. the show could use more interactive sets or something. The new arena was great. and ticketmaster helped with my handicapped seating which was great. Video and pics was impossible, even of your child, too dark.

    Great time for grandkids

by GoshenGrandma on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

We took our 4 year old grandson to this show. He had a smile from ear to ear the whole time. Of course he loved seeing his favorite characters right there on stage but he also understood the message or theme of the show. When we were driving home he even made a joke about planting flowers in good dirt! The show producers know their audience and the length of time and content waere perfect.

by DRyan1980 on 5/3/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

I took my two year old to see Elmo this past weekend and she and I were both glued to the stage. It was wonderful!!! Can't wait until it comes to town again so we can see it again. She loved all the songs, dancing, and effects. She is still talking about it. Would recommend it to anyone.

    super cute!

by dom527 on 5/2/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

My little guy really enjoyed the show! The music, the characters, the dancing - he was totally engaged in the first half of the show. We started to lose him after intermission - he was still enjoying the music and dancing, but he wanted to get out of his seat. It was a little long for him (he's 3).

Very Good play, need more interaction with kids

by xisanders on 5/2/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

The actual live play was really good. It appeals to kids and in some cases even adults. The only reason I did not give the play a 5 is because I think it needs more interaction with the kids on the floor. While I realize that Elmo and the other characters cannot acommodate each child, it would be nice if they spent a little more time in the audience that just the play. My daughter is 3. She didn't understand why Elmo didn't come and see her and talk to her more. We were in the front row and even though Elmo did shake her hand once and hugged her once, my daughter (like most other kids around her would have loved more interaction with the characters. We adults understand and realize we are coming to see a play. Trying to explain that to a kids between 1 - 5 may not understand as well. Again, that's the only reason for the 4 stars, not 5 stars. Maybe if they cut the play down by 10 minutes and used that for more crowd interaction, even or maybe letting them get on stage, (like my daughter wanted to do), i think it would be great for the kids!!

Show was good, sound quality could be improved. Also, like other shows, be prepared to be inundated w/ over priced, low quality souvenirs aimed at your child (i.e. $10 for an Elmo balloon that they parade around during intermission). 4yr. old son loved the show though.

    Elmo's Green Thumb

by AudreysGrandma on 5/2/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

What a magical, memorable show it was to spend with my 1 1/2 year old granddaughter! I always appreciate the interweaving of entertainment and education that is Sesame Street's trademark. My granddaughter was mesmerized and learned so much! (The show wore her out, and she SLEPT all the way home - priceless!)

My friends and I took a 3yr old, 2yr old, and 18month old, and all of the kids liked it. It was probably about 10-15mins at the end that most kids were done. The show would have been better if there was not an intermission. But overall it was fun for what it was.

My 2 year old daughter loved it!

by Lauren12345 on 5/2/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

My daughter used to really like Elmo but has kind of grown out of it, but she still really loved the show. She singing and dancing was great and she would dance to all the songs. At this age it is really hard to hold her attention for longer than a few minutes but this show kept her interested and wantin more :) Great show! I would highly recommend it.

Elmo's Green Thumb was a lot of fun

by GrandmaNanci on 5/2/11The Bank of Kentucky Center - Highland Heights

I took my 2 year old grand-daughter to see Elmo. She was thrilled from start to finish. We had great seats so she was close enough to feel involved. Was able to hug Abby and to shake hands with Rosita. The colors were bright, the backdrop was pretty and made perfect sense to both of us.
