The actual live play was really good. It appeals to kids and in some cases even adults.
The only reason I did not give the play a 5 is because I think it needs more interaction with the kids on the floor.
While I realize that Elmo and the other characters cannot acommodate each child, it would be nice if they spent a little more time in the audience that just the play.
My daughter is 3. She didn't understand why Elmo didn't come and see her and talk to her more. We were in the front row and even though Elmo did shake her hand once and hugged her once, my daughter (like most other kids around her would have loved more interaction with the characters.
We adults understand and realize we are coming to see a play.
Trying to explain that to a kids between 1 - 5 may not understand as well.
Again, that's the only reason for the 4 stars, not 5 stars.
Maybe if they cut the play down by 10 minutes and used that for more crowd interaction, even or maybe letting them get on stage, (like my daughter wanted to do), i think it would be great for the kids!!
