About

Post-grunge rockers Seether looked back on their decade-plus career in 2013 by releasing a two-disc anthology dubbed Seether 2002-2013 and then, as is their longstanding habit, boarding their tour bus. Fans who scored tickets to the band's concerts saw the South African trio -- currently comprised of singer-guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey -- pounding out favorites like "Broken," "Remedy," "Fine Again," and "Truth."

Seether came to the U.S. in 2002 after performing for a few years in their home country of South Africa under the band name Saron Gas. The risky move proved to be a smart one; the group easily slid into U.S. rock radio playlists and has since sold millions of albums around the world. Three of the band's albums -- 2002's Disclaimer, 2004's Disclaimer II, 2005's Karma and Effect and 2007's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces -- sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States. Seether's 2011 studio album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, reached No. 2 on The Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting album of the band's career.

    Phenomenal Performance

by SPORTER1 on 10/10/21Ace of Spades - Sacramento

The band was celebrating 20 years of fantastic music, and the concert did not disappoint. The band was on point, Shaun’s vocals were stellar, and the crowd was lit. It’s always a great show when the crowd knows all the lyrics, and if you go see Seether, expect that you’ll need to know them too. The show last two hours and Seether hit all the songs off their latest, Viccenial. If you enjoy a tear rock show, this is a ticket to buy.

    Great experince

by J. R. on 10/4/21House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

Seether always puts on a great show, they just play and play and play. I don't need a lot of interaction with the band, their music is real and their passion evident. First time I have seen Nonpoint and Plush. Now I wish I had seen Nonpoint years ago, great band and show. Looking forward to Plush's releases. The HoB staff was super easy and friendly. Absolutely noting but praise for the everyone we met, including security, door fools, bar tenders, servers, and restroom attendants; everyone was just easy and made our experience so much better.

Seether just keeps getting better and better. We have seen them half a dozen times or more in the last 3-4 years and everytime they are phenominal. This time at the House of Blues at Myrtle Beach they had the audiance on their feet from the moment they took the stage. We will go to see them again, again.

This was the 5th time seeing Seether. I have seen them at open air festivals, large arenas and now a small venue. They never fail to put on an amazing show. The quality of the sound (mix of vocals and instruments) is always spot on!!!

    by Makniem7 on 8/4/21

Seether and 3 doors down played excellent. I really enjoyed this concert. It is always great to hear the bands play their music live and be around people who enjoy them as equally as you do. Love the venue and the staff there is always pleasant.

I can’t believe what they allowed to happen during their per

    by Brenda Breeze on 7/24/21

So we had good ticket at the 3 Door Down Twentieth Anniversary Tour at the Amphitheater in Orange Beach, Al. Night got better as a thunderstorm rolled through and left a beautiful night cool off but they got a late start the concert was to begin at 8:00PM but they didn’t open doors until 7:55 so about hour late getting on stage. Full moon rose nice breeze and get sound and they start their set. No spot light throughout their whole show. You could not see them. They were dark figures on the stage playing their hearts out but no one I mean no one could see them. The monitors could give ya a little look at one but never could I see the band drummers any of them playing. It broke my heart. They had lightning all around them but none on them I’ve never run into this in my long history of concert going. I’ve seen them three times. Brad the singer looked health his band played wonderful but you go to concerts to see the band play. This his the third time I’ve seen them and love their music but I guess they just can’t do live. First go around at Hard Rock Brad the lead singer wasn’t with it and short show. Second time it was at Lake Charles, LA casino they had equipment problems his guitar kept dropping out but his other to player made up for it. His band are pro but how did they go through a whole concert and not know they had not a light on any of them. It’s like almost getting there and being cut off. I still can’t believe it. Now Three Doors Down came on after them and all was good. Great lighting but the damn cameras man cut Brad off from visual when he would talk with the crowd can’t figure why the camera crew were so unprofessional. I know 3 Doors Down are from this area saw them pre-Katrina in Gulfport before the Auditorium was blown away Breaking Benjamin, and Shinedown open up for them this Gulf Coast area means a lot to them they love it as these area help launch all them so hopefully they’ll get the lighting problem fixed for Seeter but I’m through with them but not Three Doors Down and September I know Shinedown will have it together. Good luck Three Doors Down with the rest of your tour. Thanks for not forgetting your roots as we love you guys and ya brought a much needed spiritual lift to post Covid for your fans last night. Do something about lighting of Seeter their really bum your fans out they got quite as the knee something was wrong. I’m as older souther lady who’s followed both of your bands for 25 years 3 Doors Down just hated to not see the performers.

    Seether Rocks!

by Debo on 8/2/19Horseshoe Casino's Bluesville - Robinsonville

Seether was awesome and i love the venue at the Horseshoe. The only bad thing was there wasnt but 1 place to get alchohol besides the bar, so the lines were long. I've been to several shows here and there are usually 3 or 4 places set up for beer, and this was the most people by far that I've ever seen there.

    Seether!!

    by C. on 7/30/19Horseshoe Casino's Bluesville - Robinsonville

First time seeing Seether and was definitely not disappointed. They are one of the best sounding live bands I have seen. Very clear vocals, fantastic voice, and the band was spot on. The venue was pretty good. Bars and bathrooms upstsirs and downstairs. I thought our seats would be great and was pretty disappointed in my view. Any seats numbered 1-5 in section 406 should be avoided. There is a handrail in the aisle and it almost completely blocks the view. These seats shouldn't even be available in my opinion. Overall I would go back to this venue because the sound was great and all other seats were great.

    Awesome show.

by Tiger Edward on 7/30/19Horseshoe Casino's Bluesville - Robinsonville

The guys came out and really rocked out. The thing about Seether is there isn't a great deal of showmanship, just straightforward in your face music.

    Great show

by D. M. on 4/24/19Harrah's Resort SoCal - The Events Center - Funner

Seether gave it their all. I love seeing concerts at Harrah's. Its close enough, an easy drive, and easy to get in and out of. I wish they would have more rock shows. The pricing is good too.
